How wonderful it feels to get such a warm welcome and read all the encouragement and good wishes from all of you. You really made me feel that you understand where I'm coming from.
I am hopeful about my journey now, and it was good to be reminded that I don't need to feel ashamed about having gained the weight back... It served a purpose at the time, and now I'm ready to move on to a new, healthier place.

I look forward to posting regularly and hope that I can be as inspiring to you as you all have been to me.

Oh, and to NotTheCheat: I live in Greenwich also - weird right? Maybe we should compare notes! It's nice knowing that there is a "fellow traveler" within a few miles of me!

I thought I posted this once already but I think it got lost?! (Please bear with me, if this post appears twice I'm sorry!!)

Shalott - Wow - small world! I just moved to Greenwich a few months ago so I am still finding my way around. I have found I really enjoy walking in Bruce Park, but unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get my park pass yet. I would love to be able to walk by the ocean and I know there is a really nice park with walking trails (my company had a picnic there once). Feel free to PM me if you want to chat more.

This is a great group of people who always have something to share! There are those on here that ahve lost..are loosing and who are just begining..again like me! Joining the group thread for the exercise really helps! It keeps you accountable for what you want to do!
