Hi everyone, I've not fainted yet, Annie!!!lol I'm just having trouble keeping up with all the posts BUT my house is cleaner & more tidy, lol! I get to try a bar each day now, yippee!! FOOD!!!
Lisa, great that there's a good selection, nothing worse than the same thing every meal, every day! Puddings, I'm jealous!!!!
Zelma great to hear from you, sorry you are feeling like this. I have no idea what to say, except be easy on yourself, have you thought of sending hubby off for a whole day out somewhere so you can be alone & think? Maybe not? Don't bottle it all up or you will make yourself ill, do whatever makes you feel better.xxxxxxx
I have to go & pick up toys AGAIN & tidy up, my counsellor comes in two hours, WEIGH-IN DAY!!!! I know I've done well but my weight was UP from the day before's, I know I'm silly weighing every day BUT it helps me to stick to this very strict regime. Hopefully soon the hunger will go & I can pack my scales away.
Sorry about not mentioning everyone, my brain is still only firing on half its cylinders!!!
xxxxxxsharon
ps. Nancy good luck with the flat! fingers crossed for you.xxxx

Kymberly, congrats on your milestone - losing dress sizes is just amazing, much more gratifying than the scale, I think! Way to go! :carrot:

Karen and Sharon, :cheer: hurray :cheer: for your first losses! What a good payback for all the hard work you've been doing, I'm sure.

Wow, there are just so many people it's hard to keep up with y'all! :gossip: I'm sure as time goes by I'll recognize names and 'faces' but in the meantime just wanted to let you know that each and every one of you is an inspiration to me and I look forward to reading this thread as a means of continued support. :grouphug:

Now I'm off to make myself some breakfast and then paint my bathroom and hallway. Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning, chicks (I believe all of our roosters have abondoned us :p )!

Well, 1 day under my belt for staying under 2000 calories. I did it yesterday, and I can do it again today! As can be expected, I'm way up on the scale--288.5 this morning. Hopefully, I'll shed some of it in water weight over the next few days, but even if not, a 5-pound gain with the way I've been eating for almost the past month now is really nothing to complain about.

It snowed here yesterday a bit (not much--maybe an inch or 2), and you would think the world was coming to an end. This morning, it took me over an HOUR to get to work--now, I do live in one of the worst traffic areas in the country, but even with traffic at the time I leave in the morning, it never takes me more than 40 minutes tops to get to work (and that's on a bad day!). It has literally NEVER taken me so long to get to work before, and I've been making this same commute for over 7 months now.

Anyway...today is my Friday since I'm not working tomorrow, so time to get some work done so I don't have to worry about anything office-related on my day off!

going to lose 200 03-08-2007 08:26 AM

Morning everyone
I just have a moment since I am on my way out the door to work. Just thought I would congrats to Sharon and Breathless...:cheer:  Hope my weigh in is as good tomorrow :)
Anyhow, not much new here today. Scale is up a little today but not fretting about it at all I didnt exercise yesterday at all and didnt have a proper dinner as we ate late and went to the movies and such. I think the test may have stressed me out a bit too. Good ole water too. I drank 6 litres of it! *L*
So, I am off to work. Have a great morning! :dust:

Hello Everyone! I'm so bad about posting lately, but wanted to pop in!

Breathless: I said it on the Old Hen's board, but I'll say it again - :bravo:

:woohoo:

Annie: :woo: What a great accomplishment!

Sharon: A big :bravo: to you as well!

That's it ladies, I'm so sorry I don't have time for more, but I have to run!

Way to go loosers! It still seems weird saying that...lol. I only hope I can be a big looser also. Does everyone here attend weight watchers or something, or are you just picking a day at home to weigh in (I'm confused). In response to the "Gazelle" It is a exercise machine that resembles cross country skiing, if that helps, also I saw they are on sale on-line at Target. I really wanted the Ab-Lounger thing it is for abdomen and back strengthening, of course after reading the description it only holds up to #250 so there goes that idea...lol. I've had a c-cection 17 yrs ago and then last year a hysterectomy and bladder lift from the same incision, also a OLD fashion gallbladder removal with a large incision. So what I am saying is there isn't a whole lot of muscle left to my stomach and my back has weakened from using it wrong I suppose. Oh well, I'm not compaining, maybe just a little..lol. I hope all is well with everyone....the computer is soooo slow lately it's driving me crazy......

toofatforu 03-08-2007 10:02 AM

i think most of us just pick a day to weigh in.. but people like me have been known to peak early every now and then lol

mechell81 03-08-2007 10:28 AM

Great losses everyone!:congrat: :congrat: :cheer2: :cheer2: :woohoo: :cheer:

As for me I am so sick! Turns out I had an allergic reaction to my blood pressure medicine. I noticed I didn't feel good on it but they told me I would feel sluggish. Well within 30 minutes of me taking it last night I broke out into a huge rash all over my arms! And I had been having chest pains which I didn't have before the blood pressure medicine. I was on a really low dose anyway but they told me how to slowly stop taking it and then we go from there. Uh just seems like its always something! Well on a better note DH and I talked and we are looking into getting a gazelle. So many of you and people on here have had great success with it. I know they make one that holds weight up to 350. I will have to look into it more. It will be a few weeks before we buy one though. Well looks like everyone is having a good day so far. Stay OP chicks!
