Default Trying Again

Hi All

I've been on these boards before, but not for quite awhile. I'm going to try this weight loss thing again because I know I can do it if I really try.

A bit about me:

My name is Trish I'm 28 and I live in Indiana. I just had a baby boy this past October (on Halloween!) he's my only child. I joined Weight Watchers a few weeks ago but haven't even attempted the program yet. Since joining Weight Watchers i've gained 4 pounds! All my fault, not the program! At my last meeting I weighed 395 pounds. My first goal is to lose the 4 pounds i've gained since joining.

This is the heaviest I've ever been in my entire life. I've always been overweight but this is getting bad. I want to be able to do things with my child but currently at this weight there won't be much I can do when he's a little older.

I also have a very loving (and skinny) husband who supports me in whatever I do, he loves me the way I am but also supports my weight loss attempts. I guess i'm just here for support from people who understand first hand how hard it is to be this overweight and how hard it is to actually lose the weight. I would also like to support others in whatever way I can.

Thanks everyone,
Trish

Hi Trish,

even though you have been here before. on having your baby boy and on Halloween too, you've got your own little warlock or wizard now

You did great joining WW, and now you are here too, between both plus your new incentive of losing the weight so that you can be more active with your baby etc, it's all bound to help you get those lbs off

Hugs,

Ammi

Trish – Welcome to 3FC! Congratulations on being a new mother! I can totally understand wanting to do something about your weight so that you can do things with your child.

A lot of people have had great success with WW. That is great that your husband is so supportive.

Please feel free to jump in on the main thread.
