Thanks for the welcome all!

Molly -- I plan trips and things for me and dh to do. I just wish that JUST ONCE he would plan something for me. So I see where you are coming from!

Darcy -- great looking family!

Today is a dreary day in Florida. Pouring down rain! I need to go grocery shopping, but going to try to wait until the rain stops! My neighbor said she will take my two oldest so I don't have all three. Taking an infant is easy! Other then that I think it's a laundry/change sheets type of day!

Take care,
Bonnie Jean

Hello everyone!! I finally have my 'puter back!! Yeehah!! Not that I'll be able to post much, my darlin is still attached. Lord love 'er I can't believe she is almost for months old. Where has the time gone?

Welcome Lawrence and Bonnie Jean! It's wondeful to have you both here. We're a great bunch of folks if I do say so myself .

Stevi: Sorry about your bass player. My DH has taken up the guitar. He has a group that gets together once a month to play. They are all beginning/intermediate players. They have a great time and it makes my DH very happy (it's at our house).

Darcy: I sure hope they figure out what's wrong soon so that they can fix it. I love the pic. You have some cute kids there (you're not so bad yourself).

to everyone else!

We went on our annual pilgrimage to a state forest to see the fall foliage. It was SO beautiful! Alex took his backpack and magnifying glass. He toted our water. We had to stop every few minutes to look at rocks, sticks and leaves with the magnifying glass. It was so cute! We hiked for over an hour. It was great.

: TANTRUM:

I had a long post typed out, and DD who was laying next to me on the couch, stretch, and I have know Idea how, but she bumped my laptop, and bye bye went my post. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH. My good mood just went out the window. My connection is so slow. I have been up for an hour, and am still on this stinking PC. Teeth grinding, ok, I'll get over it.

Holy, that stinks about the nail, you'd think they would be more careful about the parking lot.

Lawrence. I have a hard time too when going out of town, and with company over. Best wishes.

Squishy. Love your enthusiasm.

Momma bear: We may go to Chuckys in January for DD's BDay. What's it like price wise for a BDAY party?

Bonnie Jean: I'm with ya on the video, a friend of mine dropped of CORE, and I thought I'd give that a try.
Laundry and sheet, yep, sounds about like my day
Stevi: 60 hours? Wooow that's a lot. DH plays guitar, as well as my 15 1/2 wannabe DD.She also plays piano, and drums. Her Dad plays bass, and I think piano. I am taking piano lessons. I've only had 2 lessons, so its yet to be seen if I have any real talent. My singing is just everyday average soso, you get the point.

THe painting was a hit. Everyone loved it. My BF from MO loved it, and wants to buy one for her little girl. She just gave me a huge garbage bag of very nice hand me downs, so there is no way I will charge you. (this always happens to me. I end up doing things for friends, and never get around to selling. Oh well, It will be good practice. after all I've only done one)
Darcy, sorry your down and out. GET BETTER SOON!!! Your family is beautiful

Hi KarenK: Ahhh, a hike sounds wonderful!! I gotta remember that this week end.

We are back for MO, I ate horribly, but it is now time for me to drop down to 20 points, so it was one last hurrahh for me. My scales dropped down to 149 at one point, so thats what I will set my tracker at. I won't be getting on the scales anytime soon though he he, I don't wanna know if it climbed back up. I got tons of house worke to do and ebay pics to take, and to smelly dogs to wash so its time for me to get off her

Talking Blah.....blah blah

Mornin'!!
I've been up with the lil Feller since 5am, actually I Got up @ 4:30 to make his bottle and he then was all smiles. Made Banana choc chip bread....MmMmMmmm...Hate to let bad bananas go to waste. I did it low cal...sorta. Back is a lil sore from yesterdays activities. DH said "the floors could have waited two more days..." Ummm..NO. Lil Feller likes to sample all things small and yucky that he can find on the floor. Shut him up and made him feel kinda dumb...Tee hee.. I love it when that happens cuz he's the smart one. I actually have a lil song and dance I do when I know something he doesn't, Yeah, Pathetic. Whats worse is I've only performed it about 4 times. He's a triple degree kinda guy (spend most of his adult life in school) Private school before that AND he's a trivia nut case. I always profess to be the TALENTED/CUTE one....Take that Mr. Smarty PAnts.

RX~ Just for the record. At your height and being male, it doesn't seem your any too over weight. I wish DH was your weight!!! He was when we met 4 years ago. False advertising I tell ya.
Christi~ Your eyes are failin' ya Sweets. I had to go back and look so I know I didn't type HOURS....I typed SONGS. You silly nilly. Each song is about 4 min. so about 4 hours of music. Glad you are already getting offers!!! Make sure you take really good pics and build a diverse portfolio.
Darcy~ Such a nice family! You go ahead and whine all you want! I have been Queen Whiner for a week +. I slipped my L5 disk. MAJOR owie.
karen~ Nice to see you again! I stunned Lil Feller gonna be 8 months! He was just so tiny!!
LAuren~ Hey there Hot stuff!
Squishy~ I fear nothing will stop my need for sweets. However!! I am pleased to announce That DS#1 and I stopped by Coldstones Creamery day before yesterday to share a small and neither He or I could eat more thana bite or two. What a waste of $5. It was way to sweet and rich. YAY!! We used to go there once a week!
K gotta run...Love ya, mean it.

Stevi: Opps, I miss read, and with all the caos of losing my post its no wonder. Not feeling to hot to day. (maybe sinus ??) Plus I'm STARVING. I've cut my points to 20. I've had about 8 so far. I have little to no grocerys, so a healthy snack is nearly impossible. Oh well, super time's in about an hour and a holf I think I'll make it...

Cool Tuesday already? 7 days of vacation left...boo hoo!

I officially believe my scale is out to get me. TODAY it's trying to tell me that I lost 2.4 lbs since I took my weight yesterday. HUH? I know I shouldn't obsess over the scale, since everyone does have their ups and downs, but I didn't know that we fluxuated that much.

So when do you fine ladies update your status bars to reflect what the scale is saying? Once a week? Once a day? NEVER? I think I just want to actually see progress.

Another sunny, but cool, day here in Eastern Canada. The frost is burning off the ground at the moment which has blaneted us in a THICK fog. That should be gone in the next couple of hours. Probably go for a walk with my mom after the DW heads into work. (Karen has the right idea - the fall colors are beautiful at the moment so why pass them up.)

Thanks to everyone for the continued welcomes. You guys are such a great, welcoming bunch!

Darcy: Not to even SUGGEST this, having experienced it myself, but do you think it could be a kidney stone? They're AWFUL. You're seeing a doctor so you're doing everything you can be doing. My thoughts are with you and I'll be sure to send good vibes in your direction. :

Molly: When planning something "away", it doesn't have to be anything elaborate either. Take him for dinner and a movie and then work your way up to a romantic weekend away. And make sure there's no 'special occasion' either. Sometimes the best surprises are the ones with no reason attached.
Or maybe I'm just a closet romantic.

Bonnie Jean: You know, your comment about being the "trip planner" made me think. Perhaps instead of type casting roles (i.e. it's always hubby who plans the trips, so maybe wifie should try it once and a while) MAYBE it's better said that the spouse who normally doesn't make the plans should make a "surprise" plan for the other. Yeah, that's probably better.

Stevi: Oh you! You certainly know how to start MY day on the right foot. When I saw a nutricianist some 6 ( ) years ago, she set my goal weight at 180 lbs for my height, so that's what I've always set. Of course, if you look at all the charts and hoo hah that's online, they place the TOP of my "ideal weight range" at around 175lbs... I figured that if I ever get to the 180 lbs range, I'll assess things at that point and go from there. I don't think that I'll be overly concerned about that any time soon.

Christi: Don't starve yourself, hun! I don't know how the WW point system works, but I just can't see feeling hungry as being a good thing.

Well, better get some mint tea into me -- try and shake this scratchy throat before the weekend -- and get this day started. Have a great day folks!

Smile Good Morning all!!!!

Squishy,Wanna,Stevi,Goddess,Rx,Bonnie, and everyone else....Hope you are having a beautiful morning! It's raining here in ETN. But I woke up to another sweet surprise, like Rx I'm addicted to getting on the scale and I know I shouldn't, I just like knowing all this hard work is finally paying off! Anyway I lost another pound! Everyone should know that I have been trying for the last few weeks with no losing whatsoever! It's finally paying off. But it will take another 10lbs for anyone to even tell that much of a difference! When I look in the mirror though I feel my face is slimmer!
I have found a way never to feel hunger pains at all! Here's the secret WATER!! If you can drink 10oz before a meal and 10oz after a meal, not only will you eat less you get fuller quicker! I promise this really does work. I took me about 2 weeks trying different ways to drink water and this is the easiest! I drink 20 with each meal and cystal light water with my snacks! I know most of ya'll think yeah yeah, water but I was a avid Coke drinker!!!! After 2 weeks of just drinking water I quit ALL sodas for good! I reallly thought it would be harder than it was! I use to drink soda all day long, now I sip on water usually flavored thoughout the day. I usually drink anywhere from 80 to 100 oz a day. I find that I am more likely to drink it if it's in a water bottle, so I buy a case and then I just grab one out of the frig! OK I'll stop preaching now!!!LOL
Since it's been cold here, I made homemade veg, beef soup! It was a good way to get in extra veggies! Those of you on WW may already know this but I found a good dessert to makeL: Lowfat graham crakers with ff cool whip. Take One Graham craker break in half and take 2TSP of cool whip put in the middle make a ice cream sandwhich out of it and freeze it, This is so good! I usually eat two every nite!!! There very low in pts and calories!
OK, I"m done......Sorry to bore everyone to death! Hope ya'll have a great day!!!!

I was sabotaged I tell ya! Yeah, that's right SABOTAGED!! I did so well yesturday. I was back on track. Well, DH went to the grocery store for me. That is the first sign that a disaster is headed my way. So, he picked up a box of oatmeal cream pies and half gal of ice cream!! He told me he was going to. I asked if he would get sugar free pops or ww fudge cicles instead. But no this is what he was craving. I thought "It will be ok, I have 4 points left, and one pie is 4 points. I ate that first pie, and it was pure bliss. I don't even care for them much, but have been eating the low cal kind. When the real stuff hit my tounge it was all over but the crying. I halfed a second one with dd, and then another. I had a little over 2 1/2 of the snack cakes. I went over 6 or 7 points. I was so sad, I really wanted to rewind the whole scene. Then I was kinda mad @ DH, but I won't hold a grudge, I ate it, he didn't make me. (You should've seen what he ate) ( I sent the rest of them to work with him this morning, I said "I don't care what you do with them, but they can't stay here!!")

We'll today is a new day, and I am more determined then ever!!

JennyMarie ETN is that east Tenn. I used to live in Columbia TN till December of last year. I totally agree with the water thing. It makes all the difference. I have to stay away from soft drinks too. If I drink them, I don't want to drink my water. I love veg beef stew. I was thinking about making chicken stew tonight, ever make it?

Rx, Thanks for the advice, I'll try not to starve. (I don't think I'm endanger of that anytime soon )

Time to get to work, Didn't get the ebay stuff done yesturday, so I've gotta finish that today. Plus, I haven't touched the house work since friday. UGHHHH.

Talking I miss a day and I'm lost!!

Good morning everyone. Welcomes to all newbies!! [You'll all find that I will almost always refer to you by your thread names....I'm not too good with real names Sorry!]

Jenny ~ H2O, baby..........that's the way to go! I'm a water drinker as well. I allow myself one diet coke (or diet DP) a day. That method usually works well for me! The graham cracker dessert sounds yummy! I'll have to try it.

RX ~ Unfortunately, I've not be able to change status bar in a while. I seem to be plateaued. Ugh. Oh well...at least it's not going up, right? BTW, I liked your suggestion of the "wifie" also contributing to the romantic aspect of the relationship! Touche! Both me and DH contribute a great deal. In fact, he just told me he's set up a babysitter for Friday night and is taking me to this really cool restaurant. yeah, me..... We do things like that for each other. Recently, I planned a weekend in a city not too far away and we did about six (6) wine tours (that's our thing!). Had a blast!

Stevi ~ Can you feel our connection?!?!? I, too, have a multi-degreed hubby! Two masters degrees and two undergraduate degrees. Ugh....talk about feelin' stupid! Oh, yeah---I hope your back gets better! don't over do it, silly.........

Goddess ~ Olah!

Wannabe ~ Only 20 points? Is that enough? I'd be starving, too!

karen ~ Mornin'!

Mamabear ~ How r u today??

Nail lady ~ Great pic! You're beautiful!! How are you feeling? Any prognosis from the doc?

3Spuds ~ Hey there!

Squishy ~ Happy Tuesday......

All ~ Have a wonderful day!!

Fondly,
Fit

Thumbs up

Good Morning All!!

I'm in the same boat as RX and Jenny -- I weigh almost every day! Sometimes twice a day! I know it's really bad to do that, but I've been losing so rapidly on phase 1 of FSD that I can't hardly wait to get on the scale in the moring! That being sad, I am now down 10 pounds and soooooo happy!

WannaB - my father has never had a weight problem and whenever he would buy chips, cookies, or other no no snacks he would keep them in his truck so he could eat them at work! I have now gotten my husband to do the same!

Hope you all have a good day! Off to the grocery store!

Take care,
Bonnie Jean

Talking And the slacking continues......

Mornin'!!
So I wake this morning thinkin' "today is a new day" ( Its the Chicken Little in me) Put on my clothes and take DS#1 to school. Lil Feller fell back asleep on the way home and is now all snuggled in with Daddy. I get back, make my coffee, have a Zone bar (love em') and totally forget to weigh myself. DAmn it!! Yesterday I skipped it intentionally....I'm ascared ( I know thats not a word, but its funny ) After being layed up for a week, eating whatever DH and MIL scratched up ( I'm the cook in these here parts) I just didn't wanna look. I'm sure to remember tomorrow. I'm a bit anal about morning weigh in due to a sometime 4 (yes 4) lb variance later in the day. If I could only go out and exercise! It makes it much easier for me to stay on track. My back is definetly not 100% though. I'm gonna shut my pie hole, stop my complaining and be thankful I CAN MOVE!!!
Christi~ "because you can only start so many sentences with the word Well..." LMAOROF !!!! Where your lil oatmeal pies Lil debbies types? Argg!!! They are like 3/4 sugar. Blek. Bad, wannabsize7, BAD!
RX~Those charts have a tendency to be BEST case scenario. As if all of us have the capacity to be perfect. I truly think they low ball. Way back when (bout 8 years now) I lost bout 60 lbs striving to "meet the guide lines" @ 140lbs I was at the tippy, tippy top of my "healthy weight" range and you could see every bone in my chest. Granted my legs where still very meaty (THANKS MOM!!) but thats just me. Wonder if I should tell DH he's nearly 70lbs over weight?...Maybe later. I change my tracker the minute I drop a lb! I weight once a week normally.
Fit~ Hello fellow in house Dullard!
Holy & Jenny~ I like the SB choc chip cookies frozen with lite cool whip. 120 calories! Jen, Congrats on your water apiphany, soda is the DEVIL!!! I've never been a fan of sugar soda ( I like to call it liquid candy), I do diet soda but prolly like 1 or 2 a week. With DH and DS#1 we go through 2-3 12 packs a week. Egad.

Yes Stevi I know I know!! And BTW your looking a little pale, and well evil. (He eh)

Sigh, gonna hit the showere, maybe that will get me in gear to get this house work done.
Fit, 20 pts, thats what I read, maybe I should double check. (hopefully I'm wronge LOL)

mommaof3: That is a good idea, but the diff with me is that hubby needs to drop about 20lbs himself! He's supposed to be on ww too, but I'm the one who has to count for him.
