Hi everyone. I am new to 3FC. Need some support and buddies and motivation. I am a mom to 3 and had some shocking news yesterday at my dr. appt. I have gained 10 lbs in 6 weeks and don't know why. How frustrating and depressing . I am really going to make a commitment to myself and my family to lose this weight. My goal is to lose 46 pounds and be where I was when I got married 4 yrs ago. Thanks for any advice.
LBH ... that was really funny. Use2beskine you are in the right place! Most of us can understand where you are at. You can do this ... one day at a time ... that's what I tell myself. This board is soooo supportive. I think you will find as much joy and motivation as I have by searching through these threads. There are some truly beautiful people here! And they'll help give you a little kick in the pants when needed....
use2be , These ladies are awesome. You will have no trouble finding a group to jump in with. Sorry to hear about the doc's appt though i think most of us can relate
Welcome...... As for your sudden weight gain has your doctor checked your thyroid levels. When I became Hypothyroid I gain alot of weight in a very short time. Might be worth checking into. It's a simple blood test. dont know if this helps or not.
Welcome to the board use2be! Like the other ladies said, there is a lot of great support and encouragement here and a lot of people who've been there. You can do this. I'm a Mom of 3 as well, that alone is a workout, lol. Join us in the weekly chat thread at the top of this forum.
