Hi everyone ....names Gina and I just found this site today after browsing through the book at the bookstore when I was broke. I thought....hey I have internet, I can at least afford to get started on that!!! So..here I am. I am a almost 38 year old married stay at home mommy to 2 boys. Jordan who is 17 and a senior this year, and Brandon who is 15 and a freshman this year. I know...they seem to be a bit old for a stay at home mom. I'll be honest!!! I don't like to work!!! I would rather stay at home and do whatever I want to!! Its hard work, but someones got to do it. I have been steadily gaining weight since moving to Texas 10 years ago. I am now at my highest weight ever. I have a thyroid problem for which I am currently not doing anything for. My best friend from Oregon moved to Texas 3 weeks ago and is living on my street. So we are going to start working out and dieting together. We have just had so many guests staying with both of us that we are gonna wait until they are all gone and tommorrow I take my nephew to the airport then I can concentrate on me. So....anyway! Long story short, I look forward to getting to know you all and hope to make some friends and get some good advice and encouragemnt along my long journey.
Hi Gina! Glad to have you with us! The first thing I would do is get to the doctor about that thyroid! Glad you've got a friend close by that you can exercise with!
Welcome to the forum Gina!! I have a 15 year old as well, and like your 15 year old's brother, his name is Jordan. I also have an 8 year old daughter, Emma, and a 5 year old son, Noah. I'm from Oregon, like your friend as well!! I look forward to getting to know you!
