Hey if this burn isnt better I will go out and buy vinigar if we dont have it in the house. As for the temps, I've been in air conditioning, and actually I was less stiff when I was outside.

Karen, glad to hear that Alex is doing better. That had me worried.

Good Morning..It has been awhile..
Congrats Lisa on graduation!! Vinegar has been my trick for burns also..How miserable...

Karen--glad Alex is better..
K fell at Walmart on Sunday and hit the suntan lotion rack in the middle of the aisle and split her forehead open..I panicked when I picked her up and her face was covered in blood..Of course the b@$@# in the pharmacy says to me "I guess U let her fall out the buggy" before even getting me paper towels for pressure..I almost choked her since I didnt even have a buggy with me..(ok..for the Northerners here--a cart --my DH hates when I say shopping buggy!!)They stitched her up in the ER and she is back to the little daredevil self again...

Diet wise--about the same..No loss and no gain..I started excercising on the treadmill daily and really watching what I eat..I think I am going to the MD next week and have some bloodwork run to check my thyroid..Never had that done and I just feel tired all the time...
Ok..off to work!!
Hello to all the newbies!!!Congrats to the weight loss to all!!!

Angie, we mainly do our own thing, as well as talk about other things going on in our lives. Most of the ladies are married, I am divorced (2yrs- June 1), and I can't recall if there are those that are single.

Stevie, did you buy both tv's at the same time? or was it a power surge? That would be horrible. Maybe homeowners ins. will cover it??? Just a thought.

Karen, how are you holding out? Is there the oppressive heat that we have had there yet? I cant even imagine!

Hello to everyone else.

Lisa

Good morning everyone.

I feel awful, Alex gave me his cough. My throat hurts so much from coughing. I have a doctor's appt today so I'm going to ask if there is anything I can take. Probably not! Sudafed and Tylenol are my doctor's answers to everything. I'm going in for a Non-stress test today and the little darling was up ALL freaking night long. It felt like she was kickboxing. So, of course, she is quiet as a mouse this morning. I will have to drink some OJ (forbidden treat!) to try to kick start her when I get there.

Lauren: I hope Robby feels better.

RR: Yikes, your little one is truely adventuresome! I hope her head is better.

Angie: WELCOME. Yup, jump right in and post away.

Lisa: The heat hasn't been too bad, but I stay in the house as much as possible, with the AC blasting. My DH goes around wearing a sweatshirt. Sorry honey!

Only 17 more days!

Karen, too funny. DH is just going to have to deal with you freezing him out! At least you don't have to go all summer. I had to 2 out of 3 of my pregnancies. YUK!

Lauren, I hope Robby feels better!

Angie! Jump right in!

Ricky has had diarrhea for a few days. I think it's just teeth (getting close to 2 year molar time). I called the Dr and talked to a nurse and she said as long as there's no blood and he's not running a fever (no to both) to just keep with the BRAT diet and Pedialite. He had a bad rash on his butt from it. He's doing better this am, no more diarrhea and the butt is clearing up a little. (whew) So that's been my excitement for the last couple of days. The poor thing screamed bloody murder every time I changed him. He's still a little squeamish thinking that his butters is going to hurt when I change him. Poor man!

Well I'm off to the shower while he's napping. Make it a great day everyone!

Hi All,

I hate my life right now...DH is home with Robby today. His temp was down yesterday afternoon, after I found the Ibuprofen he hid on me in the pantry! It was up again overnight, but he felt cooler this AM. Then I called the Drs. office to find out if they'll still do his surgery tomorrow and had DH take his temp again...101.7. So it's rescheduled for 7/5. Peter's is still on though...as long as he doesn't end up with a fever.

Apparently this fever thing is going around. 2 other kids in the infant room, and 3 in the toddler room were down with it. Plus a few of the girls at work had to p/u their kids because they had it. Most don't have any other symptoms except the fever, like Robby, but some are showing coughing and snotty noses.

The diet has gone almost completely out the window....I'm mentally adding points in my head, but it's "pointless" really, because I'm probably consuming about 50-60 at the rate I'm going.

KAREN, Baby day is right around the corner! I so want a girl next. What are you going to name her?
MOLLY, Ricky's poor lil bottom! Rashes are the worst! When I was BF #2 ds he had a terrible rash for a week due to passing a lil doody everytime he passed gas! And you guys no you can't smell bf baby poo....I was changing him 10 times in 8 hours!
ANGIE, Good for you! I wish I was modivated to get off my arse. I want what your having!
LISA, Thanks for the idea but they where both about 13 years old! The one in the Family room was purchased when ds #1 was 2! (He's 14) So we are still looking. Prolly tomorrow.
