  • Hello...Well it seem I keep finding a subgroup I would like to be apart of. I have posted the message below a couple times...so I am so sorry if you ahve read it before and before...lol...I just want to get started. I am too young to be and feel this way and I would like any advice you all have found that works for you. I am 32 single and alway been fairly active...then one day I looked up and gained 80 lbs...it is not me and I have lived with it up and down for the past 6-8 years... please advise...below is what i have posted on a couple other groups. Not really sure how to use this site...it is very informative and a little overwhelming.
Hi everyone...I am new to this site as several others are....Whats the best way to get started on this challenge? I am not on any meds at this time...starting the South Beach Diet and excersise. Battling alot of fatigue and not sleeping well...I am too young to feel this way. Oh and how do i use one of those weight trackers I see at the bottom of peoples quotes...I like them. Sunkissed quoute on getting started is how I found this site and her situation sounded like she was talking about me. Please advise...frustrated and anxious to get started.
  • Princess, Hope you find at thread you're comfortable with !
  • Hi Liz! Welcome to the Forum! I love it here.

I am 36 been married for 16 years & with my dh for 19. We have 2 girls (7 & 10). I can relate sort of to what you went through. My gram was like my mom and I lost her to cancer after my youngest was born. I lost it, I went into a deep black hole. If that depression wasn't enough, my dh and I hit a major major rough spot. After MONTHS of counseling & living separate we were able to get back on track thank the lord. However my weight not only stayed it continued to gang up on me. Never thought it was that bad (ok it was denial!) -- I saw photos and a video of me from our vacation last year and it just made me sick and that is when I said enough and get off your butt. So here I am today, working my butt off and actually eating healthy for the 1st time in I cannot tell you how long.

Hang in there, do your best. If you fall off, just forget that part and start over. You can do it and we are all here to help you.
  • thank you
