Took the boys to Sunday school this AM. I actually got to sit through a whole church sermon without either beeper going off! WooHoo!! Going to BJ's in a bit to stock up for the week. Have a great day all!
Jen sounds wonderful. It has been cold and dreary here. Plus wouldn't you know I started Spring Break and I am sick. Stupid Head Cold! This week I plan to pretty much take it easy except for one trip to Xavier to check it out. Will let you all know how it goes.

It was a beautiful weekend so me and DH and K went to N.O. to the reopening of the Museum of Art...There were Jazz bands in the Sculpture Garden and we stayed all day..The weather was in the 70's and wonderful..K didnt get the concept of "Don't touch" the pictures inside so we pretty much hung out outside..Her favorite musical group was there and she was thrilled when one band member sang right to her(I will e-mail a pic) He didnt even mind when she held on to his leg to keep him from leaving!!
I needed a break from #2, so it was nice to get away with just us for a change(not being mean, but she is so agressive with K and stubborn sometimes I need a break)

Good morning! I am beyond exhausted; AF showed up and is really zapping me. I'm going to miss 2 days of exercise this week from it (yesterday & today), but it's all good - I'll get it in gear just as soon as she slows down a bit.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty low key. Grandpa and Grandma took my daughter on Friday, it was kinda nice to have an evening with my hubby.
I ordered some new work out videos over the weekend. I can't wait until they get here.
I don't know what it is this time around, but I am so determined to make the weight loss a success. I am so thankful that I joined 3FC. It really does keep me incredibly motivated. Its a great feeling.
Well, I'm going in the wrong direction again. I'm up .8 this week. Probably shouldn't have eaten that frosted brownie last night. Good news though, I am covering for a new person now, the other girl came back from leave, and the person I sit next to now is a very good influence! She will have me walking at lunch and doing the stairs in no time!
Hello all! I found some wonderful drugs and am feeling much better!!! God bless the drugs (& for me to say that it was bad!).
I did not weigh myself once again because of the nasty head cold that went to my lungs. I will definitly weigh myself tommorrow, even though it is not my normal day. I will be leaving for Xavier in the mid-morning and returning sometime on Wednesday. I want to see how I will be eating. I do know that they have a Cheesecake Factory near campus, so I will be visiting. I LOVE the food there.
RR, there are about 20 students from my campus down in your area, helping to repair NO especially the 9th district. (Or which ever one that Harry Connick is working with.) I am sure that they would love the warm weather. It got up to 33 today here.
Lisa--Glad U are better!!! The 9th ward is soo terrible...They found a body on SUnday up in an attic..What a mess and hurricane season is soo back again..

RR, Remember those shots Kaylee used to get for her ears...Roch...something or other?? Was that an antibiotic? What was it for? Robby has been through 2 rounds of antibiotics (amox & omnicef), and we're on week 2 of the cough meds w. decong & antihist. in it...can't remember the name (that's 1/2 tsp. 2x a day). Yesterday he had diarrhea 2x, fever last night (ibuprofen took care of it), but he was whining a good part of the night. Oh, and he's getting 1/2 tsp. Zyrtec every night. At his recheck Friday the Dr. said his ear still had fluid in it and that it doesn't necessarily mean it's still infected, because the fluid can hang around for awhile. She said we'd recheck it again in a month, since he was acting fine. His 15 month appt. is next month anyway. But after last night, I don't know??
I remember one time that Peter went through 3 rounds of antibiotics in a row (amox, augmentin, omnicef), but was fine after that. He grew out of ear infections probably around 2 y/o.

Lauren, I had been taking Tylonal Allergies however I went to Wal-Mart last night and picked up Tylonal Sinus. Everything else makes me sleep. Even the non-drowsy stuff.
Well Okay I checked my weight, finally. When I redid my tracker I couldnt remember what I weighed so I put a number in. I really haven't lost any weight, since the first of the year but going forward I will.
Checking out Xavier to day for Grad school. I don't know. It is in my five year plan to have my MBA. For those of you counting with me: 74 days left til Graduation. woohoo!

RR, I'm with you on the not working thing. I stay at home with the man (16 mos now) but I have stuff that I do from home. I couldn't handle not doing anything.
Lauren, that's rough having one sick like that all the time. My step son had chronic ear infections too and has had 3 sets of tubes put in. The last ones were called T2 (I think) and they did the trick for him. He had them taken out finally about 2 years ago (he's 8 now) and has done really well. He also has allergies pretty bad. One of the unlucky ones I guess.
I have been using Sudafed PE this last bout that I'm having and it's working pretty well. I have sinus issues all year round and this and CounterAct (Melaleuca) are all that work for me anymore. I think I'm immune to everything else. lol Maybe the Sudafed will work for you though. Worth a try...
I went to the doctor yesterday. About 2 months ago he put me on Xenical and I took it for about a week then quit and started WW. I wanted to see if I could lose weight on my own. And I have and I told the doc that I stopped taking the Xenical and started WW and he was very impressed (according the their scale I was down 10 lbs). Said I was on the right track and to keep up the good work. It was nice to hear the doc say something other than "we need to get that weight off you!!" Pretty uplifting!!
Anyway, I'm off to the shower. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Sudafed and Benadryl are the only drugs that make me sleepy, or affect me in anyway for that matter. But for some reason when I take it in the Tylenol AC, it's OK. (Although I am sleepy from being up half the night with Robby).
