Default Week of~~January 29~~

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope y'all are having a great weekend. Mine has been so-so. Someone stole my happy, cooperative child and left me a whinny, impossible to please one. I wish they would trade back. Ugh. I seem to spend most of the time irritated with him and I hate that. Double ugh.

Eating has been OK this weekend. Nothing spectacular, except that I did refuse ice cream last night and had an orange instead . As impossible as that is to imagine!

OK girls, hope you have a great week!

Hi all, I have been lurking off and on the past couple of months. I am glad to hear the amnio went well! I am cleaning up my eating and increasing activity and I have lost 6 pounds since the beginning of January. I am mostly doing kick cardio and taekwondo (soooo fun!).

Hello to the newbies too!

Jen

Hi All,

Wow, I was totally MIA last week...sorry about that! Actually, I was reading, just too busy at work to post, and God forbid I get on at home.

Last week I lost 3 lbs., but I forgot to weigh this AM and see if it's still lost, or found it's way home. Went shopping and bought everything I need for meals this week. Picked out 4 meals from the Eating for Life book we have. I don't have my list with me, but I'll try and remember it tomorrow and post what we're having. I know tonight is Zesty Italian Chicken...or something like that. We've had this one before. It's baby spinach on a plate, put a serving of fettuchine on it, and the chicken is grilled or sauteed or something, with LF sauce on it...and I think parmesan. How's that for a recipe?

Have a great week all!

This week I start working on my speed for improving on a 5K.

I ran a 5K this weekend benefiting the county hospital, and did it in 35:14, which I was ok with. Wish I could have done it in 33, but oh well. Next time!

Took yesterday off from all exercise, and actually did ok on the eating over the weekend. Though I did go to dinner with Mom on Saturday and ate only half of the plate that they gave me. Shrimp and catfish. Yes it was fried, but I didnt care!! Again I only ate 1/2 and didnt eat the potatoes that came with. Had a nice salad before. Yesterday I ate the leftovers.

I must say I am getting tired of all the fruit. I need to change things up a bit!!

Default Only 1 pound!

Well I only lost one pound this week, which was better than last week when I remained the same. I guess I'm going to have to try harder. I didn't walk this weekend so that was bad. I'm going to walk this afternoon. I just wish the weather was better so I could walk outside. Walking inside is depressing. My eating has been OK. Did eat some chips this weekend but they were baked. Better choice than regular. The chips were my only mistake as far as food goes. Wish that magic fairy would zap the fat but she hasn't been around for 30 years so I'm pretty sure she is not going to show up.

Sue, if you do see that magic fairy, can you send her my way?

I am not starting out well this week. Food wise, I have been okay, but I am stressing about school and work, so I am really craving chocolate right about now. Only 110 days - there is light at the end of the tunnel!

My mom made chocolate chip cookies, only she used Spenda white and brown sugar, they turned out good. They have less calories and fat, but I know this so I eat more. bummer!

Lauren, I like that recipe, I think?

Well time to study for my test tommorrow. (Human Sexuality) I don't think I am going to do well, its been too long. :hehe:

I was short on my goal for January, but I am blaming it on the fact that for 6 days I was in Steamboat for vacation. Even though I could have logged prob 3 miles per day walking (not to mention skiing) in there, but I didnt.

Still... 71 miles I am happy with!

Hi. I posted a 'newbie' thread, but I'd like to jump right in here.

It sounds like you are all doing really well - this is going to be a great place to be! I only have a minute (baby just got up from her nap) but I wanted to report in today's exercise: WATP 4 mile and Ab Dolly abs. I pulled something in my shoulder last night so no TAEBO today - hopefully tomorrow.

I hope you are all having a great day - KEEP THOSE BODIES MOVING!

Hi all. Im new too. I just turned 30 this Feb (the 2nd - ground hogs day) and I know I need to lose some major weight. Last year I was at 180 (which is still big for me) and since I have started a new business and ate out (ALOT) and gained 59 lbs. I am looking to lose that PLUS more so here I am. This site looks fun and the chicks look interesting. I have a 4 yr old girl and a hubby who could lose a few too (from our BAD, BAD diet).
Anyway, I have lost 8 lbs so far this month and am going to add exercize so that I can lose some more. Any tips? Is Taebo fun? I like to move around when I exercize. Im thinking of using my hubbys xbox and doing the DANCE REVOLUTION in workout mode. What do you think?

PS....I found another cool website- hungrygirl.com
They have these soy noodles that are SUPER LOW CAL and taste good. For a pasta lover like me...its a dream!!
