Well here I am, I just woke up a half an hour ago and I have to get ready for work. I plan on going to the gym after dinner. I kinda didn't make it to the 7:30 class. ops: Oh well I can go tonight. The pool is open til 9pm.

Lauren, when I am sick I don't want alot of food. The majority of those calories came from two slices of Pizza Hut Pizza. (Ham and Pineapple) I was worried about what would not upset it. normally I have a cast-iron stomach.

Karen I will keep you in my prayers. It will be okay, like Lauren said, "Deep Breaths".

RR, the pantry to your own house? Won't you have the key? Would that help? If it does let me know.

Hi everyone-- I am sorta new here. Have been lurking and now I need to get my butt in gear. Every year I say I need to lose the last of my weight and I never do. I am really going to try this year.

I just get so discouraged.

But I did pretty well last week- didn't lose anything and I also didn't exercise.

Today I am doing great and I walked 2.5 miles today on my treadmill.

by the way my name is Anita[not April lol- that is my Bday month!! ]

I tend to pick a food and that is it..I think work had a fit when I showed up with turkey chili That is the disadvantage of a hx of ED..the tendencies always come back!!

Good Luck Karen---I have a friend having one next week...Her OB said after 35 it is standard..I am glad my OB didnt feel this way..

Thanks so much everyone! The test is over and now the hard part begins...the waiting! I will not get my results until Feb.

RR: It's not too bad, I had one with Alex too. I want to know ahead of time if anything is wrong. That way I can just love my baby when it gets here and not have to deal with grieving.

Welcome to all the newbies! I'm so tired my eyes are crossing so I'm off for a rest (doctor's orders!).

Okay, here is a strange question: How come all of a sudden, I am not seeing any tickers, even my own? If they do show up, it is very sporatic.

BTW, I did very well so far today. I haven't calculated everything, but I am guessing it was good. Not going to make it to the gym, I am too tired. Need rest for school next week.

Lisa...and everyone else...Suzanne has made some adjustments so that your siggy only shows up one time per page. Some people have very large siggys and it's bogs down their server. To see someone's siggy without scrolling up to the first post they made, you can click on the user name and choose "view public profile", that will show their siggy.

Lisa---too funny about the locked pantry..actually it is..I bought a door knob with a lock and must lock it at night..I have a SD with OCD and she will remove all items and "line them up" on the table in rows occording to colors and height..It made me crazy on the weekends to put every thing back..The only problem is the key is on top of the fridge and I may be short but not that much!!!haha

Karen--glad U did well..I guess UR right..DH and his wife did one and they were prepared when #2 was born..I guess it was easier...All will be fine.My friend is 36 and I guess with a sp donor U just need to check everything also..
REST REST REST!!!!

LOL, RR, I didn't know SD was OCD. Is that #1 or #2? How frustrating.

Default Good morning!

Hi everyone,

Karen - glad you are ok and please get some rest!!

I hope everyone is good and getting the week off to a good start. I weighed myself and I'm up again, so now the time has come to get serious.

I did 11 miles on the exercise bike yesterday, I hope to do about 8 today and will get in some more walking when taking a break today (twice).

Take care. Talk to you guys later!

Hi All,

I have some small NSV to report. I stepped on the scale this AM and it says I'm up... What's up with that?! BUT...I said to DH last night, I must be doing something right, because we had soup and grilled cheese for dinner last night and I was stuffed...like, no room for dessert stuffed...after a can of Progresso Chickerina and a grilled cheese sandwich. That's not normal for me. I know for some people that may sound like a lot. I have been eating a lot of soup for lunch, or small portions, and I guess doing that is shrinking my stomach. It's not shrinking my waistline or pounds yet, though.

Oh well, baby steps...

Good Morning,

I decided to get on the scale today and I'm down 3 pounds! Yeah! At least something good came from my stressful week last week. I don't want to loose it that way again tho. It was a bad few days here.

Lauren: I'm with you on the smaller portions shrinking your stomach. We went to Stuff Yer Face (have you heard of them? they have AWESOME stromboli's) for lunch after the amnio and I had a baby boli and a salad. I didn't like the majority of the salad fixings (spring mix, yuck) and only ate out what I liked. The baby boli is 4.5" x about 2". I was STUFFED and could barely finish it. Now if I can just tune in to my body's cues and STOP EATING when I am full, maybe I will make some progress.

LisaM: Thanks. Now if I can just hang in there until the results come back! Good for you on the exercise. I'm trying to get back in the habit, after tonight I can walk on the treadmill again.

RR: Oh my on the OCD. That would be hard to deal with on top of everything else. I have extrememly minor OCD tendencies, especially when stressed (counting, I can drive myself crazy counting...whatever I am counting MUST come out even). Good luck to your friend on her amnio. Tell her it isn't bad at all.

DH had a guitar jam here this weekend and people brought snacks. I threw out the last of the munchkins this morning but we still have brownies and about 5 or 6 bags of chips. There were only four of them (not counting DH) so I don't know what army they were planning on feeding. Of course, they wouldn't take it home with them either. I've done pretty well staying out of it, but how long can one person (especially one who loves to eat!) resist?

I hope y'all are having an awesome day!

Default Hi there!

Hi guys,

Karen - good luck on the three pound loss!!! Way to go!!

Lauren - I'm sorry about your weight gain. I am in the same boat. I gained a few pounds. Don't let it get you down. If you can get full with smaller portions, that's the way to go. The pounds will come off in time. Hang in there!

I'm heading off to the gym in a bit. Still feeling lousy, coughing alot.

Take care.
