Default **Week of Sept. 19th**

Hi All,

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! I heard from Jackie yesterday and they're all OK. They've got some shutters and branches down on their house, but the new house is fine. She's pretty busy at work taking claims, but will read/check-in when she can.

Having a busy weekend here. Yesterday DH worked OT all day and Peter and I went to Ikea with my mom. I can't drag DH there for anything, but mom actually suggested it when we were virtually decorating my LR on the phone! I want to sell my big entertainment center, which is from Ikea, and get an armoire style. They had one model there, for 249., which was OK, but I'd have to show DH. Peter was amazed going through there, at the high ceilings and all the stuff!

Today I've got a ton of laundry to do. Might go meet mom, gran & gramps at the diner for dinner after church. Have a great day all!

Good Morning!!
I am having such a rough time without DH here....Let's see...the night of the hurricane, #2 started vomiting at 1am...I was at work and a friend was watching her calling me with updates(this was Thursday) my mom has Kaylee and she calls that she has 102 fever under the arm...Of course, everything is closed..Thursday night, #2 is still vomiting and Kaylee starts screaming from 1am, Temp of 103 and all I did was walk the floor with her..By Friday morning, I wake up and discover I am covered in vomit, Kaylee was so congested she had vomited in the bed and I just covered it, stripped her clothes to the diaper and we just slept in it...I think I cried the night away until I fell asleep..DH callled me at 7am so chipper to let me know of the wonderful time he was having..I told him I was filing for divorce and used some pretty nasty language and hung up on him...He even panicked and called my mom and asked if I would really divorce him..My mom told him that 2 weeks was too long to be away when u had sick kids and that she hoped I wouldnt divorce him since Kaylee needed a daddy...He owes me big time..
I took Kaylee to the Pedi..her WBC were 29.8(normal is 3.5-10)THey gave her a shot and told me to comeback Sat and they would possibly put her in the hospital..Sat her count was at 18 so she got another shot, today she is at 12 so they have started us on Zithromax..Poor baby can hardly walk with those bad nasty shots in the legs...Oh yeah...#1 called while I was at the Pedi with #3, Mom was seeing the MD with #2 to tell me she was sick at school..I pick her up and she comes home and informs me she had missed 2 tests she forgot to study for...THen she wants to go to the football game with friends..I said H@## no!!!that if U were sick from school. U can recover all weekend...Now, she is being soo nasty to me but who cares..I am not a step mom to win the popularity contest!!!!
Ok..enough venting!!!! Must go care for these lovely children!!!
Oh..did I mention someone ran into the back of my van in the parking lot at work, causing $1800 in damage and I have to pay cash to get it fixed before the insurance company will endorse the check over to me???then on Friday, someone had knocked my passenger mirror off?coffee:
CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
RR
Jackie--GLad U R ok..I am praying that Jeanne and Karl head elsewhere..This is way too active of a season and we have until Novmember!!

OMG RR, you're having a rough time down there!! UGH, DH better send you to a spa for a few days to make up for this one!! How are #2 & 3 feeling today? What's the matter with Kaylee that she's on Z? I would've taken #1 right back to school and let her fail the tests! I did that a few times when I didn't do my homework!

Hello Everyone,

RR: I am sorry that you are having such a rough time. DH definitely owes you...BIG, BIG time. I can't imagine having to go through all of that alone. I'm glad your mom is close and can help you out. I hope the girls are feeling better soon. That totally sucks about your car. Do you know who backed into it?

Jack: I'm glad that you didn't have any bad damage from the storm. Take it easy and check back with us when you can.

Lauren: Hope you are having a nice day with your mom/grandparents. I love going to Ikea. I like their toys. Now that Alex is getting bigger we need to go again.

It's a beautiful day here. Alex is taking a nap right now. When he wakes up I want to take him outside to play. Now that the driveway is done he can ride his go cart and tricycle there.

Hope everyone is having a great day!!

Karen-No idea who backed into my van...It will go into the shop on Monday for a week...And yes...DH owes me big time and knows it!!!

Lauren--Because her white count was so high, Pedi thinks sinus infection developed into bacterial infection..I knew she wasnt well last Sat when the other Pedi didnt do anything...She is 100% better today..still running fever but eating and playing..bad cough and nose running but sooo much better!!

Well, now that the weather is better, no excuse for me not to be out!! Kaylee and I played and slid down the slide for hours..Climbing up that ladder should count as stair master right???? We even did the jogging stroller!!
Her majesty calls!!

Hi All,

RR, so glad Kaylee is feeling better! Congrats on getting out and enjoying the weather! Hey, you've got an Odessy right? How is it doing? I really want either that or the Toyota Sienna.

Karen, Does Alex know how to work the tricycle? Peter's just figured out that he can actually drive the cozy coupe, not just push it around the yard! :lol

My car is in the shop...did I mention that? The driver's side window pooped out, and I think the glass actually broke inside! It's stuck down now. ...must me the lemon juice! :rolleyes I sooo cannot wait to get rid of it!!

Have a great day all!

RR, I really feel for you. Sometimes there is nothing else to do but sit and have a good cry everyone together...Crises pass, fortunately....

I have been eating well for the past 2 days again (after my terrible Saturday).
We are talking about getting a bowflex or something similar. Do any of you have one?

Hi All,

Jen, we don't have one. DH has a set of weights/bench in the shed, that's it! I have an ab roller at my mom's somewhere.

Well, I got my car back last night. They fixed the window, thankfully the glass was not broken. But now I have no radio...just a big hole in my dash! They're gonna call me when the radio comes back. The cd player is broken, but of course when they popped one in, it went right in and played! I told them I could spend 20 min. pushing a CD in and it would still keep popping out! Hopefully they'll get it back by the end of the week, I'm already going nuts without a radio!!

DH took me to Cracker Barrel for dinner last night! I had to book the hotel for our SF trip and sent me an email yesterday afternoon saying if I booked it, there could be a CB dinner in my future! It's like pulling teeth to get him there, so I booked it and we went after picking up my car. Peter ate great! I got him mac & cheese and he was eating it like they starved him all day! Then he dove into the applesauce and that was gone in like a minute flat!

Baby is really starting to move a lot now, so it's fun. Except at 5:30 this AM when Peter decided to wake up and not want to go back to sleep. I brought him in bed with me (DH gets up at 5:30) and then laid there with him tossing and turning, then baby started rolling around and kicking! Great...he's learning early!

Have a great day all!

Hi Guys,

Guess what!! My MOM'S Club is going to have a work out day!! We are doing it at my house. We are hoping for 10 Mom's and we have 7 so far. We will have a weigh-in (they will do it by themselves so no one else sees) and work out together. I have a treadmill, a skier, a step and lots of videos. We want 5 working out and 5 minding the kids upstairs. I think it will be fun.

Jen: Nope, no bowflex here. I don't know anyone who has one. Sorry. Hope you like it if you decide to get one.

Lauren: I always thought it was fun when Alex was moving around in the old belly. It let me know he was OK!! Geeze, that car does seem to be one thing after the other doesn't it. I would go crazy without a radio too. I have satellite radio and DH had it in his car for a few days after we got back from TX. I missed it big time!!

Gotta go. Boy has a docor's appt today. I gotta find out why this kid poops so much. He had diarrhea all weekend again. Ugh.

Just popping in real quick to say hi to everyone. I have been crazy since early August and I'm hoping that next week, I will finally get back to normal (whatever that is!).

As for this weekend, I'm leaving again on Thursday-Sunday. And I must handle it better this time (foodwise!).

I did skim a couple posts, enough to say that RR - I sure hope things are better there now. 3 kids, sickness, dh out of town - definitely leads to stress.

Hi to everyone else. HOpe all are well! Lauren - hope you're feeling good. Your due date is so close to one of my sister's. (hers is Jan. 18th) We were shopping for baby furniture last weekend (what fun!) and the sales person was quite shocked because she looks farther along. She started showing right away and has just kept growing! She looks real cute though.

Hello all! Oh my gosh RR,it sounds like you've had a tough couple of days. It sounds like a lot of people and their kids are sick lately. I just had a doctor's appointment because i've had fluid in my ears and completely stuffed up nose. He just said i'm having some bad allergies and gave me Rhinocort. Hopefully it works.
I haven't been doing too well food wise because it was my birthday yesterday and I chowed cake, lots of take out and drinks the past couple of days. But you're allowed to cheat on your birthday, right ladies? ha ha.

Hi All,

DG- Happy belated B-Day! Hope it was a good one! Hope you're feeling better soon!

Rabbit- Welcome back...for now! Girl, you travel waaay too much! Speaking of showing, I think I "popped" this weekend, because finally my maternity clothes fit right and everyone is noticing my belly.

Hi All,

So it looks like we're moving! My mom offered to ask her tenant to leave and let us live in my old apartment free of rent for a year. We have been thinking about it, but it would be a lot tighter. It's only a one bedroom...big BR, but still, all (almost) 4 of us would have to stay in the same BR! I think all the furniture will fit, but I just have to make sure the bed will. Her house is a cape cod, and the apartment BR is upstairs, so I don't know if the mattress will fit up and around the corner. We have the two twin box springs, so that would be a problem. The crib and a toddler bed should fit fine, also have to see if there's enough room for the rest of the bedroom furniture. Unfortunately there's only one small closet in the BR, but there is a big "attic" space off the kitchen, which is also upstairs. Before we put the central air in, it was a nice little room, and could've served as a BR for Peter, but now the unit is in there and it takes up half the space.

Anyway, for a year, we think we can manage it. Hopefully we can save up enough for a small downpayment in that time.
