Well, we got about 10 inches of snow last night! I am soooo ready for summer!! Heck, I'll take anything over 50°!! We had a delayed opening of 11:00 this AM, I only live 3 miles away though, so I came in at 10:00.
How is it going? Sorry I haven't been around for a while. I've been popping into the kid chat and lurking.
My diet goals haven't been going too well, I've been trying to go it alone, eating w/in my ww points and eating every 2-3 hrs to try to stabilize my blood sugar levels. I've also been trying to exercise at least 3 times. I keep starting out the week OK and then fall down. Oh well...as my sister says about her quiting smoking "never quit quitting" or better yet, "never quit trying"
TECH!!!! It's soo good to see you! I hope you weren't staying away just because of the Kid Chat thread?! I started this one back up because we have some new people, and although most of us have kids of some age, a few don't, and I don't think it's fair to just have that thread. It's just that nobody posted on the Week of thread for a couple weeks, that's why I stopped it. Sounds like you've got a good plan, doing points, and trying to eat often. Sure hope it works for you. Anyway, glad to see you back, hope we can be of support to you!
Nice to "see" you. I feel you on the exercise. I'm trying but only have one time in so far this week. I'll probably go down and walk the treadmill in a bit.
I keep forgetting to weigh in the AM. Gotta remember to do that. I'm not expecting a loss, guess that's why it keeps "slipping" my memory.
I got on the scales this morning and I was down 1 lb. Not sure how that happened. I have not been exercising like I should. Partly because of the weather and this sinus cold I am battling. I would like to try and walk tomorrow, but will have to see how the weather is.
I guess I will finally post my weight.

Lauren: After thinking about it, I'm glad you started this thread back up. This way I can focus on losing some weight.
Tech: I am fairly new to this thread, but looking forward to getting to know you. As far as dieting, I'm not really following any special plan, just watching what I eat, eliminating sodas, and drinking lots of water, and staying away from sweets. Also trying to do some walking.
I'm going to start weighing in on Sunday, I think. I haven't stepped on the scale regularly in awhile. I do occasionally get on it naked in the AM and it's not pretty! :blush: We're supposed to start BFL next week, so hopefully that'll get us going in the right direction.
Hi there, I was reading through and thought I would join in. I am feeling awful I just ate 3 small Dove Chocolate hearts and I wasn't even hungry! Ugh. I haven't exercised all week and I have NO excuse, I live in South Florida. I am so frustrated.
Okay, I am with you all too........... I just baked chocolate chip cookies and ate 2. What was I thinking? Between the cold weather and running every afternoon doing things for our new house, I can't even get a walk in. The only thing I am being consistant on, is the drinking lots of water.
Welcome: SYC, I am in North Florida in the Panhandle. I bet you get better weather down there than where I am at. I used to live in the Tampa area and the weather was usually nice.

I'm going out to eat with a bunch of people from work tonight, for someone's b-day. We're going to a Brazilian restaurant! I've never had Brazilian food before, but they said it's not spicy.
