Ross - Thanks for the compliment on my meal prep. My husband jokes that I'm crazy (his words, lol, I would call it organized) about the food prep. However, as his schedule is busier this semester, I've already packed a lunch for him and he's eaten one of the prepped dinners. Jokingly gloating aside, the 2 hours I spend Sunday afternoon portioning things into containers completely makes up for the 30 minutes of prep, 35-40 mins of cooking, 60 minutes of dinner, and 30 minutes of cleaning pans and dishes during the week. Or, it beats spending 30$ for carry out and who knows how many calories.
The husband wants to save money, so guess he's gotta deal with the crazy, lol.
*Disclaimer - I'm really just quirky, not bonkers!
Count me in, too! I'm at 195, which is the heaviest I've ever been in my life. I looked at some pictures from 5 years ago when I was at 150 - I remember not thinking I looked thin enough but dang I would give anything to be back there!
In the same boat Micko. 195 is the highest I have been in my whole entire life as well and I have had 3 kids!
And I have photos of myself when I got down to 138 just a few years ago and wonder what in the world?!?
Ugh....oh well, most we can do now is work at it again.....ugh
Hi All, I'm glad to finally see the 190's after being stuck in the 200s for atleast the last 5yrs of my life. But I don't plan on being here long....just passing through. LOL. I'm racing towards my next mini goal of 185. Best wishes everyone!!

Hi all, my name is Sarah. I'm 30 years old and I am weighing 194 (from 226)
Really trying to get to 150-160 range..or a size 10/12. I do calorie counting, zumba, and light jogging & vigurous walking 3 to 4 days a week...
If only I could get out of theese freaking 190's. this morning I got on the scale and I felt like i was on the biggest loser. My digital scale flashed 188 189 then settled on 190.0! What the....!! Ahhhhh!!!!
I am so happy to even qualify for this thread! I was 197.1 lbs this morning and the fact that I'm not in the 2's anymore just makes me grin. I have no idea how long it's gonna take me to get to the 180s. I'm just really happy to be here.
Great job learning to live! Looking like I am going to be in this thread forever. I went all buck wild today with my eating. I'm going to get right though.
So I ate crazy yesterday. Wasn't able to go to the gym yesterday morning because they canceled because Of the weather. I got on the scale this morning and it said 188! I don't want to get too excited yet because I don't think it's a true number. But it gives me hope. Maybe I should just eat crazy and not work out everyday and see what happens! I'm just kidding!
I've been the same way Ross - I've been eating like crazy since the holidays. Even last week I tried getting back on track, but I still over ate after dinner. But, my scale has put me at 185.6. I bought a scale today and have decided to weigh myself every two weeks. Daily weighing stressed me out, and once a month makes me lose sight of my goal. So, I'll compromise and I've put the scale away in a drawer so I'm not tempted to stress myself out.
I'm just going to keep trying again this week to stop eating after dinner. The weather definitely makes me want to eat. However, I think I'm going to pull out my NEAD (No Eating After Dinner) tools:
-Drinking a big glass of water after dinner
-Allotted after-dinner grapefruit (went shopping today, fridge is stocked with them)
-Brushing my teeth at 8:30pm
-Tea for the rest of the evening
The goal is to lose 5 pounds be Feb 1st. Wish me luck!
