Anyone else want to join up??

want2run: yes, I did get your PM. You're down on my list!

Who wants a partner? I'll do what we did last time and just partner you with the person next to you in line, but let me know if you want a partner or if you want to go at it alone.

Those of you who have partners, pick who you want to be the reporter. Weigh-in is Monday morning.

April 5 will be the starting week; just report your weight for that week with no losses or gains. On 12 April, report how you did your first week:
last week's weight/ loss or gain for the week/ this week's weight.

I'll tally up the weights in the handy-dandy spreadsheet that MP has graciously sent me with all the formula (thanks MP!!) and will report every week what we've managed to lose as a group. At the end of 12 weeks, I'll tally it up again and let everyone know who was the Biggest Loser.

Also, I'd like a partner, but I want someone thats been around alot--I don't want to get half way through and find my support is MIA-- If no one is available, I'd be happy to go it alone.

I want to join! I need some accountability and I've been using Monday as my regular 'weigh in' day anyway.

I know I only have a post or two so I understand if nobody wants to be my partner. I have been lurking lately and I am really motivated to lose this weight and make some permanent lifestyle changes!

Info about me (I guess I never introduced myself) single, divorced mom of 3 young boys. Full time student working towards a bachelors in Accounting... Lost 30 pounds 2 summers ago from 189 down to 157. (That was summer of 2008) and then my marriage fell apart, gained back almost half of it. Trying to regain the mentality I had that summer because I was on a ROLL!

We've got quite a few of you ready to sign up! That's fantastic!!

I'm still adding names to my individuals list and those of you without partners will be getting one shortly (I've got a little work to do tonight, so will do it tomorrow when I'm finished teaching for the term).

I'm so excited to start this! My trainer called to reschedule my appointment for tomorrow (I'm teaching, which means I can't make it) for next Friday (9 April). I'll get all my measurements written down, but I can't wait to see her face when she has to lift the 10kg block off the scale!! We've both been waiting to see the 70s for a while now and it looks like I'll make it on this particular appointment (her scale is about a pound off from mine). After this challenge is finished, I'll go back and get measured again.

Well, it's the 1st of April (almost the 2nd here!) and we've got quite a few people signed up for the BL Challenge II. Some of you already know your partners, but I'll post a list of those of us who have decided on partners or are carrying partners over from the last round:

Don't forget that this challenge starts on Easter Monday- YIKES! Right after the holidays! Best time to start then since we know what a temptation Easter candy is.

And for those of you who haven't signed up, please do so if you're interested! This is a 12-week Biggest Loser-style challenge, except you're not humiliated by Bob or Jillian or have to appear on national television in your underwear . Just post your weight from the previous week, your weight loss or gain for the week and your current weight.

When does this thing start? 5 April, which is on the Monday following Easter (how evil is that?? ) . You'll post an initial starting weight without any losses or gains.

When does the challenge end? This one ends on 28 June, which is the last Monday in June. Most of you will be showing off your new body in summer dresses while some of us languishing in the Southern Hemisphere freeze our butts off.

When do I weigh in and post my weight? You weigh in on a Monday and please no later than Wednesday.

How long is this challenge? It's a life-changing 12 weeks.

What about the statistics? How will we know how we're doing as a group? I'll post statistics once everyone's posted their losses/gains for the week.

Are you ready for summer, ladies? Think of shopping for summer dresses! Think of the smaller sizes and really cute sandals!
