Staffingchick, you"re stunning! Have you ever modeled? You have that look.

I looked up the octo-mom pics too. I don't believe that she didn't have surgery. Even if she did, so what? I am totally going to too. These girls aren't going to perk up on their own! lol

She may not have had surgery, but I'd be shocked if boob tape wasn't used in that picture! There's no way. She is pretty young, right? 20s I'm thinking? I bet they used a little editing software also. I could tell her bellybutton was a bit stretched. All in all, it was an amazing transformation. Makes you wonder how on earth it could happen while taking care of 14 kids!?

I think Octomom has some serious mental issues. Not to mention the quack that helped her have all those babies. She did look great on the cover but I wonder how much it was doctored with make up or touch up after it was taken.

You ladies are way too KIND! Thank you for all of the kind words. I have never modeled...I did have a few pageant opportunities, but never felt confident enough b/c of my weight struggles.
MotherME...I can't believe we live so close..what a small world. I travel to Youngstown quite a bit in the summer, b/c my daughter plays travel softball. I love the malls there.

As far as the Octo-mom...I agree with the photoshopping...where did all of those stretchmarks go....seriously!! LOL!

Good luck today ladies :-)

If it looks too perfect, it is too perfect. Caveat Emptor.

I haven't seen the cover, but you wouldn't believe how much of these kinds of covers are photoshopped. No one goes on a cover of a magazine and isn't touched up in some way. I vehemently oppose the practice of making someone artificial. There are wonderful things you can do wtih photoshop and I love using the software, but its atrocious how many people have low self-esteem and body image problems because they've compared themselves to false perfection. :(

Hey there! happy Thursday! How's the week going for y'all?

Beach! Thanks for the extra bunny! Eleanore the retriever is just delighted at how her new toys are self-replicating! It's better than Tribbles!

Weekend plans? I've got a Girls' Night Out on Saturday (must RSVP) and possibly a Rugby Club sweat lodge on the same day (must check for time conflicts) -- and a big Sunday of Thesis writing. Y'all?

The weekend is upon us....so happy! Lots to get done, and several food challenges ahead of me. Hoping I can keep my momentum going strong for a great weigh-in on Monday. I hope you all have a great weekend :-)
