Ummmm, soulsisters is not right (thats a "you must be 18 to enter this site" site). Jul- LOLOL!!! That's soo funny, I didn't go check it out, but imagine any of us, thinking you're a sl*t!!!

Well, here it is, 7:47 on Thursday evening, the car will be here to pick us up at 6:00 tomorrow AM and I'm not packed yet!! I did some laundry, and DH did his laundry inbetween Mom's and the Firehouse. I put his in the dryer. I should try and throw another load in... We're just gonna throw everything in one bag to check. Someone told me your purse is considered a carry on, and you're only allowed one. We're just gonna check everything. I'll keep my purse with our vitamins and drugs in it. I'm concerned because we have to stop over in Charlotte, NC both ways, and we only have about an hour stop. I hope that's enough time to check in and all.

I'll be back Sunday night, but probaby won't get back on here til Monday from work. I'll stick the new week's thread then. Hope everyone's having a great 4th!!

Happy Belated 4th of July! to whoever celebrates!! I guess that's why it's so quiet around here. I was away last weekend and we got posession of our house on Tuesday so that's where I've been. The house is keeping us busy. We don't move for a couple of weeks but we had to do a little cleaning and some painting which we're not quite finished. It's been fun but exhausting and the heat here has been unbelievable. It's been over 100 and around 115 if you factor in the humidity. And in that heat we're moving stuff and painting. We tried to just keep drinking water but it was hard to keep up. Finally this morning the heat broke a bit and it's pleasant for a change. As for the weight thing I'm a bit upset. I had managed to get down to 147.5 and then went away for the weekend (snacked some but I didn't think too bad) and now I'm back at 151.5!! 4 lbs seems so crazy but I'm thinking that I was eating too little before to get to the 147.5 so maybe that's why it jumped back so quickly. I was trying to eat at only 18 points a day and maybe that's unreasonable but I didn't know how else to get the scale to move!! So I'm still fighting to get back under 150 - some things never change!!

Lauren - hope you have a great trip!! (although I guess you're gone by now).

Jul - that was so funny about that website. I hadn't checked it out but if I had I think I would have assumed it was a mistake and not that you were sending us to a porn site!! unless that's a little side business for you !

Rabbit - I'm so jealous that you have a weekly pool date - that sounds like heaven right now.

RR - hope you're feeling better.

Hope everyone had a nice 4th. I have some things to get done around here but then dh & I plan to head to the movies. There are lots we haven't seen. ~ I'm leaving on Monday on another work trip - will be back next weekend. Hoping to handle the traveling okay.

Hello all...Feeling much bettter but not 100%....I am nervous taking those sinus pills even though everyone says it is fine..I hate medicine when there is a little 6oz baby in the picture...Today, it is just run down, sniffling and of course the nose bleeds but that is the joy of being on aspirin and having more blood volume!!!!

Elise-a new house sounds soo wonderful..Glad U have made it there...

Rabbit-Wednesdays sounds like a lot of fun!!!!

Jul--I am sorry I didnt check out the soul sisters!!!! Too funny!!!!!

Lauren-Have fun in Florida!!!We are taking the kids there for a week in July!!!!It is just a 4 hr drive from here....Dont Burn up!!!

Lauren: exactly how did I miss that you were getting ready to go on a trip?? And now your on the trip - hope your having fun! When I flew in Feb they let women on with purse and carry - on. It seemed like people were still dragging on as much as they could. I always pack so light.

We had a good 4th. Kabobs on the grill and friends over for fireworks.

I'm totally zapped by the heat. I remember being little and wondering why it was my mom spent most of the summer on the couch moaning....oh to be 6 and not bothered by the heat.

Filling out my food journal again. I think I'm slipping up on counting & doing too much estimating. Have to get strict again! This will probably be my last day to post until next weekend - I'm having company and then leaving on Monday. Will check in if I can - it'll help me stay focused, I'm sure.

RR - I'm sure the pills do make you nervous. Glad you're feeling better.

Jul - good for you for packing light - always difficult for me, although I try! ~ I like your last line!
