Freezing here, too! We had a 2 hour delay today and tomorrow because they can't get the buses started in these temps! Loving it!

I am dealing with some guilt, because, while I am still eating and counting calories, I haven't worked out in 2 days. I am spending my free time correcting papers (end of the quarter tomorrow) and doing "kid stuff!" I am hoping that I can get on the treadmill after a thing at church for my son's class tonight. His teacher has promised that we will be home by 7:30...we will see!!

It is nice to see all of the new faces, and to hear that I am not the only one with a bulimic rat terrier!

I am really looking forward to summer, even if I would rather be shot right now than put on a swimsuit!

Have a great day!

Hey all, its been kinda crazy in my neck of the woods. This week is inventory, so everything has to be clean and stay in its proper place (Ha, ha, ha, ha, HA). ~ Sorry had to get that out. I actually had to go knock on a fitting room door so I could scan a dress a lady took off the rack ~ while I was in the process of scanning it. Oh well~ what can I say.

For those who remember when I started, I got some shocking news yesterday. A "friend" that I knew back then has passed away (Sunday) and I think I am still in shock. He wasn't that old either. Its just hard, cause we were still in contact and I just want to call him up and talk to him.

Diet wise, things have not been good ~ course its too cold to walk, not that we have anyplace to go walking (cept the malls and then I just spend).

I'm in the same boat as far as motivation/working out. It's toocold out and I just don't feel like it. Right now I am concentrating on maintaining what I've lost so far. The important thing for me is not to gain so I can continue once Iget myself motivated again. This week hasn't been to bad but I am PMS'ing and would not feel bad about killing someone over a hershey bar... :P

evening all..well work was slow and pathetic..i think the cold weather kept people away...and i don't blame them. Doggies still seems a little under the weather. I gave her some drugs i have (for those newbies i'm a veterinarian so i don't recommend you doing it). Going to with hold food tongith and if she vomits still in the am, I guess i'll have to take her in tomorrow on my day off. I think she ate about 1/2 quart of horse grain..and its still coming up...but luckily she's not dehydrated, so no need for fluids yet. But if she's not better in the morning..i guess i'll head over to work to run bloodwork and make sure she didn't develop pancreatitis due to the sugary sweet horse food. But tonight i'm running to home depot to rent a steam cleaner to try and get these carpets looking a bit better.

I just got a Hoover steam cleaner at work (For the newbies, I work as a Supervisor at Bed, Bath & Beyond). Worth every penny. I am constantly pulling it out to clean up animal "oopsies"... It might be worth getting one so you can clean whenever you want.

I also had an employee 30% off coupon when I bought it... so that was nice.

Hi guys! Brrrrrr. It's freezing cold and snowy here today. Luckily it was only about an inch this AM so I got the driveway/walks shoveled and salted before Alex went to school. when I picked him up we ran an errand and it was snowing like crazy. Of course the kids wanted to play in it. By the time I got home and got the kids into snow gear, it stopped snowing. Literally, I zipped the last zipper and it stopped! LOL.

DH is away today working on some reality TV show that's taping here. He's worked as a grip from his early 20's and is listed in the NJ film book. He gets a couple calls a year and rarely has the opportunity to do the film work 'cause of regular work. He was so excited to get this gig! He may not be so excited by the time he gets home. He's been there since 8 AM and it's after 9 now. No word on when they may be wrapping for the evening. He's supposed to work with them until Sunday.

Hey LAUREN: They may need people on Sunday (no exp required) if you are interested, let me know!!

OK, there's a child making noises, gotta go see what's up!! They are supposed to be asleep. Hope y'all are having a great week!

Hubby came home from the fishing trip and so all is well that ends well. I don't do well dealing with all of our animals and the kids and the work all by myself. I can't do it without shedding some tears. I was too exhausted to get up to run this morning and so I felt draggy all day. I did eat OP though so that was good. I think I will go to bed early and get up tomorrow. I am liking the morning treadmill time. (I almost wrote 'morning runs')
