GOOD MORNING!

Well, today it is rainy, so I didn't go for a run. Should be on the treadmill or something, but I just don't feel like it. Instead, I have been on the comp. all morning looking for a pair of shoes I saw at Target last year. I wish I had bought them as no one has them in stock, and I am obsessed with finding them. I emailed Target about it, we'll see what happens. Did I mention I love shoes???

Hanna & Diana, it's so easy to just start eating junk & keep on with it. We've all been there. I'm currently in one of my "very little junk" modes, which is good. Once I have a few days under my belt of not eating junk, it gets easier. But once I slip, it all goes to pot. Oh. well.

HOpe everyone has a good day today. The preschool is having their "mother's day tea", it's always so cute. After that I was planning on going to Lowes to get some topsoil & mulch, we'll see what happens with the rain. Have to get some mother's day cards & mail them...TOTALLY for got to do that!!!

Will try to check back this afternoon.

Have a supah day, girls!!

Good morning ladies!

Having a great morning here, if I can type. Pam I think you are getting the weather we had last night. It was a doozy.

Well off to work, don't want to go but must pay the bills.

Joan, let me be the first to you. We love it when we get new people. You will find this group very supportive and helpful. We not only talk about our weight, but what is going on in our lives. (Cause sometimes that also has an effect on what we eat, etc.) Feel free to jump in at any time, cause I realize that this can be a little daunting, you will be enriched ~ I promise.

Lisa

Morning!

Pam, what kind of shoes are they? I love shoes too...have a bad habit of buying them and never wearing. I find Target seems to get rid of stuff quickly, kwim?

Lisa, I have to tell you I have a BF who used to always answer the phone good evening - in the alfred hitchcock voice, so that made me laugh. You seem extra chipper these days, anything special?

Joan, welcome. There are lots of diff forums dep on your Plan and exercise, but this a great place. It goes at a good pace here, not to slow, not to fast.

Hanna, I've had the munchies too. I had a mileshake last night, it was so good.

Hello to everyone else!

I am painting the downstairs hallway this morning. I don't think DH likes it, OH WELL! When you don't participate in things, thats what happens! LOL. I know you guys are sick of hearing about me paint....maybe one day, I will be done.

I have not exercised all week, I've been taking it easy. I think we are also going to be getting rain and storms today. I had to turn my ac on this morning, it was very sticky and humid.

Have a great day everyone!

hello~

Christina as I am Hera all teary. my G-d poor guy, but what a great way to go, on your sleep. I am sure it will mean a lot to Dominic if you do say even just a few words at the funeral.

Alicia when you are done painting there, you are more than welcome to come here! LOL

MomJoan

Lisa how are the old ladies treating ya?

Pam hello! it is funny you mention tea, my book club decided to go to our next meeting to the high tea a the 4 season, I never been to a high tea, I don't even like tea, but I am looking forward to the experience.

Today I am going to the YMCA to see about singing Sean up for summer camp w/an inclusion coordinator, and I am going to try to go to a nursery I am looking for a specific plant and I think they may have it there, its called song of India, it is so pretty!!!
Last night I went to be before 9 PM and I was up all night, I couldn't believe it, has it ever happen to anyone you are so tired when you get to bed you can't sleep? I finally fell asleep at 4:30 am and at 7:15 DH came over to give me a kiss he was leaving to go fishing and that was enough to wake me up, I hope I can function today, not promisess~ LOL

see you guys later!

Christina, I do remember you talking about the counselor, not to long ago. I'm so sorry, esp since Dominic had found a close friend in him. You'll do fine speaking.

Hanna, there was a commercial on about a summer camp and Spencer turned to me and said "don't you even think about it, I want to enjoy my summer" LOL. I made them go to a summer enrichment program a few summers ago, I thought I'd never hear the end of it. I do think its a good idea though! I didn't sleep well either last night, I finally fell asleep and woke up at 730, time to leave to get the kids to school!

I'm sitting here looking at the hallway, I'm not sure if I like it either, oh well, I'm not gonna change it.

Alicia ~ what color is the hallway?

Christina ~ so sorry to hear the sad news. I do remember you mentioning that man months ago and how wonderful he was. So sad for those that are left behind but he'll now be with his daughter again.

Trish ~ fingers crossed that everything is ok. I read your post from yesterday. Big hugs to you Sweetheart....

Pam ~ the "mother's tea" sounds so sweet. We had a "Teddy Bear Tea" at DD's old preschool. This will be your last year with a preschooler:-(.

momjoan ~ welcome!!!

Hanna ~ it's great to read that Sean is doing so well. What a relief for you and DH. Hope that you get some good rest tonight.

Lisa ~ howdy! You sound chirper today.

DH has been off all week and I'm LOVIN' it! We got lots of work done in the yard and all of the flowers planted. He's taken the kids to school each morning. I took off this morning to do some shopping all by myself and it felt great. What a treat to have hours all by myself. So, I did what any good woman does ~ spend $$$. I've been doing great with my exercise but my eating has been bad. Sounds like I'm not alone in this dept...... Have a great evening all ~ Joan

Hey, Hey, Hey (to the tune of Fat Albert)

Hi chicks! I got a sick one here with the belly bug, yucky! I'm afraid I'm gonna have it tomorrow and I have a 4 hour drive with big DS for him to take his ACT at his college of choice in the morning then turn around and come home so hopefully no buggies will want to make my trip more interesting. Other than little booger being sick things have been pretty good around here, oh well there is all the stinking rain. I have so much work to do outside before we have the graduation party and rain is not going to make my job any easier. I'm gonna start on cleaning the garage this weekend, I have a lot of junk that needs to go. I need to do that while honey isn't home, hee, hee.

Hanna, I was gonna call first dibs on Alicia to come do painting darn it! song of India, you'll have to post a pic I've never heard of it before and I Love Plants!!

Alicia, forget about Hanna, I need your expertise. Besides think how much fun a trip to IN would be, NOT! I have painting I need to be doing but it messes my neck and back up so bad I really am thinking about hiring someone, cause I just don't think its worth the pain it will give me.

Christina, you'll do fine, I'll say a prayer for your family and his, be strong!

Pam, I know what you mean about the rain, it just lulls me to sleep mode. I need to go out and run because the thought of getting on the treadmill makes me cringe, so I think I'll just bike today and call it quits after that.

momjoan, this is a fantastic place for support and a few laughs, glad you could join us.

Well I'm off to ride my life away, then I gotta get busy on dinner, gonna be a late one tonight, the boys have a track meet and I want to wait for them to get home. Have a terrific evening!!!!

Oh Yeah, thanks everyone for all your encouragement and support, I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Joan, posting at the same time, thanks for your hugs. DH home all week huh???? There are better things to do than spend money honey... I'll let you figure that one out. ha ha. It is good to have some alone time though, gives you a chance to recharge your batteries. Glad you had a good week.

Trish ~ Hah! We covered that a couple of times earlier in the week;-). It's been a great week. I love having him home but I feel like my whole routine is thrown off. Not to mention his baking is my downfall. He made some killer breadsticks for our dinner tonight. I'm curious about "Song of India" too... Hanna ~ send a pix.
