FluffyK you made me feel really great! I didn't think the crab stitch was difficult at all, I just have trouble counting the chains and figuring out where I am when I crochet. I looked at the site I it very neat! I love the baby stuff on there.

I had a great afternoon, not only I gave the little dudes a bath but I also groomed Zurg he looks really good! amazing!
I am waiting for DH to come home, we are going to to out to get a bit to eat, he feels like going to the cheesecake factory! I am always up to that, mmm....

Hey eveyone I'm back.....

I just weighed myself. Well, I had to come and post, I am very upset. Let me start off saying this. I haven't weighed in 3 weeks. The reason being I've been reading a book and following its suggestions. Main idea is exercising more before cutting calories. So I've been really good about the exercising right? Almost everyday where before not so much. I haven't been eating more though, just normal. Anyways, I get on the scale even though I'm not suppose to yet. I am up 10lbs!!!!! I am very mad and I feel like crying. It is not TOM. How can I gain 10lbs in 3 weeks? This means I am in the 260's which is very upsetting because I haven't been that high in a LONG time. I was just in shock when I saw those numbers. It's just shocking.

Thanks for letting me rant everyone. I seriously just want to go hide myself in my room under my blankets and never come out!

Lois, you should see if you can find someone in your area that can do a Body Impedance Analysis (BIA). It is a little sticky pad that measures body fat, body water, lean muscle mass. That way, if you gained 10 pounds of lean muscle mass, you'd know that your exercise was beneficial, not such a shock. The scale might have made you upset, but the exercise is such a great thing, I don't think you have anything to be mad about. Now that you've got the routine of exercising down, you can cut back a little in your diet and you have such a wonderful start. The scale isn't a measure of health, so don't be so frustrated, you've done your body a great service with the exercise.

good evening everyone!

welcome to the newbies...you'll love it here!

well...busy day today...i had to work this morning...only for like 4 hours..but i tell ya it flew by..i still have a ton to do, but i left it and wont think about it till i get there on monday!....dominic and i went to lunch..he picked the taqueria..my fav!..then he came to the house for a couple hours...it was nice...i wanted to take the boys to get their pics tomorrow but the place i like to take them isnt open tomorrow..so maybe next weekend...mario is out as we speak buying me a new tv for the bedroom...he just called and asked if 32 inches was ok...we are getting a flat screen one that mounts to the wall..not sure what they are called...my other tv died...it had no pic only sound!..i have to sleep with the tv on so i think that is why it died to quickly..i think i will switch to the radio..i think i just need some noise...anyways...so i started cleaning closets...everyones...dominic now has all black hangers, i have all white, little mario has already had this baby blue color, and big mario has maroon...im anal i know...well...just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing..have a great weekend!

Hugs Alicia. Do you keep measurements? I bet if you did, you'd notice a change there. I know it's hard to not see the scale change and even harder when it's moving in the wrong direction. Very frustrating, I know first hand, as I'm sure others here do too. Very cliche I know, but hang in there. I've been holding steady at 202 for over a month, it's very frustrating, but I keep at it. Now that you have your body conditioned to workout regularly, maybe it's time to concentrate on your eating habits? I know I personally cannot start both at the same time and usually start with getting into a routine with my workouts then start adjusting my eating. Good luck to you and don't give up! YOU CAN DO IT!

I just finished another WATP workout. 4 Fast Miles! They weren't kidding about that either! Half that workout is jogging. I loved it! May incorporate that one a couple of times each week. It was a total sweatfest, but I burned more calories doing that one than any other 4 mile Leslie workout and close to what I burn doing the 5 miler. I'm pumped this morning! I hope you all are having a great weekend!

It has been an OK weekend here, I am up 3.5 # but I can't really say I don't know why, if I could had only stopped eating! Last night DH came home to tired and instead of driving all the way to the cheesecake factory we just went down to Sammy's pizza, I ate so much bread DH actually asked me what was wrong w/me! I don't know what is going on, but I do know I have to stop!!!
Tomorrow we are going to see the neurologist for Sean, if it wasn't for that appointment, I would start the 7 day detox miracle diet, I did it once last year (this time of the year) and I want to do it again, it is hard to do, but man it is worth it!!! I am going to start it next week.
I have to go check on DS I will be back later

MY FIL is still here. I don't know when he is leaving but I hope soon. I haven't been able to get a workout in at all. Except last night I went on my walk. Today we went to walk around at a flea market. I bought some stuff from lilian vernon for $1!!! Later we went to the creek and the neighbor and I walked around while DH looked for "gold" in the creek.

Sheila and Mo back all in one week? Ahhhhhhhh... it's so nice to have the family back together again LOL.

Alicia ~ don't despair dearest! I got on the scale today (I hadn't weighed in two weeks) and I'm up 4 lbs. I was bummed but it only makes me more determined to start watching my calories. I've been doing great with the exercise but haven't been watching calories at all.

Gotta go ... three little monsters are goin' nuts and it's time for bed NOW.
