Hey all. Been busy too much going on. But my biggest issue is whether to buy this 32" HDTV wide screen or not. Its a bit pricey at 800.00 but its like the best of the 32" I can interest free Finance for 18months which works out to be 45.00 a month. I could make it my birthday/xmas gift to myself. I just don't know if I want the payment or not.

An this is funny so I had to share. I get a call from my dad. My uncle wants to have a MNF party but my aunt wont let him due to her working days this week at the hospital. So my uncle called my dad and asked him to ask me if he could use my place for the party and he'd supply the food. The 1st question I asked was is am I invited LOL.

I guess being single does still have its advantages lol. I said yes of course cause I'm watching the game anyway and have more people around makes it better. Place is clean cause mom and dad were over this past sun so I clean it then( its the best way for me to get my butt in gear to clean is to have them over lol) I told dad to tell my uncle that they may need to bring chairs depending on how many coming cause I can fit 8 comfy 10 pushing it and more well people need to bring chairs lol.

This is yet another reason to go ahead and get the TV lol

I live such a rough life lol.

An something else I've found interesting to share. For the past month when people have asked how I've been doing. I've said wonderful. This leads to interesting conversion. Cause people are puzzled when I tell them that. Like how can anyone be wonderful. They want to the secret even tho there isn't one. I started saying it cause it seemed like every time I open my mouth I was complaining about something or something else that was negative.

An I've said that I'm wonderful enough I actual feel and believe that I am. An I find myself general more up beat and happy. Even on the bad days were I just want a 40oz cup of coffee my bed and 5,000 mg suppository shoved up who ever causing me problems.

I just enjoy stuff more. If you do try its when you tell them your doing wonderful and they ask why think of the 1st good thing thats happened to you that day. No traffic, kids got on bus without having WWIII break out, good hair day, woke up before the alarm went off. Doesn't matter want it is just something good.

Good for you Big John! You sound much more upbeat ~ that wonderful thing is workin' for you:-). We just bought a 32" HDTV for the downstairs. It's a Sony and the picture is great. I think that it was right around $800.00. We'd saved some of the profit from selling our house and used it for a few things. The zero interest thing is a great way of doing thing *if* you're diligent about making payments before the deal is up. Otherwise, it's a royal way to get screwed. Have fun with the boys and keep up the good work!

BJ - GREAT additude. I'm glad to hear you so up. That's awesome that you feel wonderful. Actually, most days i'm sort of like that...i always try to see the good in life....keep up the positivity.

Glad everyone hada great halloween.

As for my day...well all i have to say is it was surreal. Got to work and at 9.30 my receptionist got a call from DH telling her to call her brother immediately. Turns out, her sister was driving home last night, ran out of gas, and as she went to check her car, got hit and killed by a drunk driver. It makes you hug and embrace those so close and dear to you, since you never know when they may be taken. Then as i was leaving work, my mother called. She was letting me know that the hospice nurse thinks my grandfather will probably pass in the next 72 hrs. He hasn't been able to eat for over a week. Its sad, but i hope he goes quickly. He's been suffering from colon cancer for so long. He's def putting up one **** of a fight. I just wish he'd let go. So depite my attempts to remain positive, i'm definately on a low today. But I know things will happen in life no matter what. It definately makes you stop and look at what you have and be thankful for your loved ones. sorry to be a bummer.

John, you are right, as I feel I complain too much myself. I constantly tell myself how I have it real good compared to others and I shouldn't complain about "small" things or voidances in my life. If I could just do something about my crazy mood swings I would be okay. I say buy yourself the TV, if you can afford it. If you don't treat yourself well, who will? Well thats my excuse for buying myself stuff anyways. I am not sure what an MNF party is but enjoy it.

Ladies, let me ask you all something. For those of you who wear contacts...does wearing eye makeup make your contacts blury? I don't wear makeup often, I did today and my eyes have been blury all day.

Well, I'm watching a Lifetime movie...one of my guilty pleasures. Everyone have a great night.

Lois, MNF = Monday Night Football. I don't wear contacts, but it makes sense to me. I personally would throw up if I had to mess with my eyes. yuck!

GG, So sorry about your rough day. I know what it is like to want your loved ones to pass quickly. It is like ~ they have suffered enough, you don't want them to go through any more. I don't blame you and I don't think you are wrong in that thinking.

I don't have any kids and we are those people that don't pass out candy. so no temptation there.

John, great attitude.

Well off to see what is going on.

hi everyone!

GG what a sad day  I am so sorry it is very sad about your dg but I agree, as difficult as it is to say it, it is better if they let go, instead of suffering.

John I love your attitude, that is so great! good for you!

sounds like every one had a great Halloween, we did too, the neighbor's pot luck party was great, we were all together, we all handed candy there, all the rest of our homes were dark, so no one stop by them. Michael and I walked a whole bunch of the kids w/us to go trick or treating, it was great, they were all very cute, there were a lot of pirates this year. Sean was Ninja, Michael was the cat in the hat and I was Cruella, it was a lot of fun, I didn't have one piece of candy, I am surprised how easy it was, I didn't even craved it.
Today I took it very easy, I stayed in bed till 12:00 PM it was great! I needed the rest, yesterday I was very stressed, and I have no clue why
My friend came to pick up her little Yorkie for the night, she will bring him back tomorrow, they just moved and their house is not ready for the little dudes to run around free and go by themselves to the yard, the fence is not secure yet. The only reason she took him today is cause her DH is going to be deployed on Sunday and he wanted to see him before he left. We miss the little dude! It is better when they are both together.
Tomorrow is a busy day, I am cooking for my in laws, they are not feeling well, dad is really tired and has had some problems w/his eye so he is not driving for a little while, I am going to make food for them for a couple of days and go check on them later and bring another batch. I have other stuff to do to and in the afternoon we have a birthday party, the mom is taking the kids to see BEE movie I offer to go w/her, she is going to have a lot of kids going.
I am sorry I am not responding individually, I have a bad headache.
Here are a couple of pics from last night:

Have a great night!

See you tomorrow!
