Quick question.. For those who weight themselves daily, or several times a day - what do you find is your normal fluctuation between AM/Empty-Stomach weight and PM/Apres-Dinner weight?
For me, in the morning after I've peed out my gallon of water weight from all my salty soup, I'm about 216, but in the evenings, I can go up to 222 or more. I do drink a lot of water (sometimes 10 glasses or more) and eat salty things like soup, but 6lbs?!? Seems absurd!
For me it usually ranges between 2-5 lbs. This assumes similar clothing and no shoes for both weigh-ins. Thus, although I seem to be a scale-a-holic, I try to weigh only in the morning.
I can easily fluctuate 5lbs throughout the day. It's one of the reasons that I like to keep myself below a certain cutoff. Eg. Right now as long as I am at least 2lbs below 220 I don't worry about the weight.
I can fluctuate from 1 to 6 pounds depending on what I've put in my mouth that day. I know for me that salty foods make me shoot up more than anything else.
I am 3lbs, dead on, every single day. So, whatever I weigh last thing at night, I KNOW I will be 3lbs lighter first thing in the morning. It's a good measure.
Saw this on the main page (latest forum posts) and wanted to reply, too. I'm usually 2-3 # heavier at night than first thing in the morning, though there have been times where it's been 5# (usually after eating out...hmmm...).
Generally 3lbs, but it's been as high as 8. I weigh every morning and I really only care about the morning weight, but I weigh at night too, (just for entertainment).
