Default I've lost 7 pounds!

3 last week and a big 4 this week. I'm also noticing less muffin top, and my clothes fit a little differently.

I'm doing south beach, and have been fairly strict with it. I think some of it is water, but some is lost blubber.

That's awesome progress... I read the South Beach book earlier this year and found it very interesting... Lately I've been thinking about picking it up again. Don't know why I'm afraid to! But good news like yours encourages me!

way to go!

For some reason when I tried southbeach I felt TERRIBLE...headaches, nausea, no energy...I felt like crap! I think my body loves carbs too much! I try to eat healthy carbs, but sometimes I just need M&M's ....I am thinking of the right diet right? The one with the 3 phases...I couldn't even get through the first one...

Yeah, that's it... Phase 1 gets you off carbs, Phase 2 reintroduces them, and Phase 3 is maintenence. I think people generally feel crappy during P1. One of the outcomes of removing the bulk of your carb intake. I guess that's why I haven't committed to it yet, because I know I'll feel crappy for the first little bit! It's hard to mentally choose to feel bad, you know?

Wow, what a fab start!!!

I tried SB once but as I am (*almost*) a vegetarian (occ. there are slip-ups) it is v.v. difficult. Also I live off of carbs, unhealthy as they may be.
