Hi My name is Ally (24) married to Mike (43) for 6 1/2 yrs. We have 4 children Shayliene 5 1/2, Grace 4, Jacob & Joshua 2 1/2. We live in Ohio and I'm at home mom. I'm back on the diet wagon again I've got to lose at least 100lbs maybe a lil more. I started back in Jan an have done poorly only losing about 15lbs. I'm determined to lose it no more playin around. Me and my husband are doing South Beach he has lost 48lbs or so. I did it for awhile but stoped and will not do that this time. I've started it today. Hope to get to know you all better soon.

Hi Ally, welcome! You've made a good first step... this place is insanely amazing, and everyone here is super-supportive. And look at it like this.. thats 15 lbs already one... you dont have to worry about losing those!

Hey there! Im also a stay at home mom and i understand how hard it can be sometiems to eat right.. I tend to eat when im bored, and find myself sittin infront of teh open fridge or pantry and i dont even realize it! Good luck on your weightloss journey, these ladies are amazing! Ive gotten so much support, even when ive come crawling back after dissapearing for a few months lol

Thanks ladies for the welcome. I so know what you mean I eat when I'm bored or stressed. I've started quilting at night so I have no excuse to eat late night now.

Hi Ally & Welcome!! Great job on your first 15#, that's a great start!! Now, just keep going! You can do it. I did South Beach for awhile a few years ago, had great success in the beginning but was hard to keep up so now I do calorie counting, it has worked VERY well for me. I am still able to eat whatever I wish, within reason of course. Good luck to you! Remember, water is your friend.. Drink LOTS of it!!

have you tried flavored waters? Maybe propel fitness water or something like that? Its got a few calories in it, but its still better for you that other stuff. Im lucky that i LOOOVE drinking water, but there are a bunch of different flavored waters.

They have those flavored packets also.. Most are calorie free.. They have new fitness packets, they might be calorie free as well, but I haven't really checked them out so don't hold my word to it.. I am a plain ole' water drinker..lol
