Default 20 year old... Want buddy..

Hi everyone.. I just wanted to say hey to everybody. I just realized that school is reopening next monday, and I am going on the my 3rd year in college, and every year I gained 10 kg. And I lost it during the summer, and I gained it again during the year. I hadn't realized this before! And now I am scared, because I can't keep up with my goals!!
I really want a buddy along the same lines as I am (age and lifewise) soo please help me!!

I'm 20 and in my 3rd year of college as well! This is my first post, I just found this site- but so glad that I did! We can definately all help and motivate each other

I'm 21 and starting my fourth year of college - gained 50 lbs since graduating high school (and even then I was perpetually about 10 lbs overweight) so I've got a lot to lose!

I'd love to get started with a formal group. What are everyone's goals? What are you doing diet-wise? What are you doing for exercise? Fill us in, it'll be easier to support each other the more we know about what we all want!

Right now I don't have a formal diet, I'm looking to lose at least 40 pounds, but I've decided I'm going by clothing sizes, I know what size and body I want, so I'm going to go with that and how I feel... Just trying to watch what I eat, watch moderation, pay attention to my body and really STICK to that cut off time and adding water

I'm reading two books over again, Total Body Makeover and the other is Winning By Losing, I hope to incoperate the ideas of both of those programs into something that works for me... I'm pretty much on the boards a lot, I've been struggling trying to find a consistent time to work out (Boo, isn't that a horrible excuse). I was doing well, but droped it... Right now I'm hoping to do Interval Cardio MWF, and some long slow mo cardio TThu, Doubling my interval cardio on Saturdays, and resting on Sunday (an idea that should work based on my reading both Bob Greene, Jillian Michaels and some overall conditioning books...)

THE TOUGH PART IS DOING IT THOUGH! EKKK!

Well, I'll stay posted

I do have to get in some weights or resistance stuff... But it scares me a little right now, hopefully in a couple weeks if I stick to this plan, I'll start focuses on more of a balance.

I definitely want to be a part of the group! I just graduated from college, but need some support from people my age. Not only did I gain the freshman 30, but I kept gaining. I was very thin in high school and somehow I just stopped working out and kept eating and drinking. Now with work all day and living on my own in an apartment I am trying to eat healthy, but somehow I just keep drinking and eating unhealthy stuff. hmm....

i'm really small (4'11) so while i don't have a lot of actual pounds to lose, i do have a lot of work to do. i definately think that 5 lbs to me is like losing 20 lbs to a taller person!

right now i'm really trying to eat in moderation. i've never really worked out so i'm trying to get into the habit of doing that too! and i'm really really trying to only drink on the weekends!
