I'd like to get back into the '30's, and stop binging.

For April I'd like to:
* Survive the last month of school without taking it out on my diet/exercise
*AT LEAST do something cardio like a walk for 30 mins every day...better than nothing...I have this mentality of if it wasn't a 2 hour workout, it wasn't a workout at all...
* Eat 3 veggies and 3 fruits daily
*Avoid fried food, and too many sweets (I can't live 100% without chocolate, I just bought 35 cal low sugar fudgicles)
*Take my multivitamin, BC pill and Fish oil pills every day
*Try to do weight lifting, yoga, or pilates 5-6 days a week
*NOT GAIN a pound over the next month with finals at the beginning of may

WE CAN DO IT!!! :) :) :)

-to run a total of 40 miles (2 miles a day, 5 days a week)
-start strength training and stop being scared of the weight room at the gym!
-take a multivitamin every day
-ace all my finals! (And not consume a bunch of junk food in the studying process)
-Lose 7 pounds, which would take me out of dangerously overweight and just into overweight
-not eat scalloped potatoes at Easter
-Get more than 6 hours of sleep in a night

This is a fun thread! I need to start setting more short-term achievable goals since the scale has not been in a hurry lately. On Feb 16 I set a goal to be at 175 by April 20, that’s just over 2 full months to lose 10 lbs. I was pretty worried I wouldn’t make it for a while there but slowly the scale has started hovering in the 177/178 range and perhaps one good push in the next couple weeks will be enough to lock it in.

Some other goals for April:

1. Go buy some clothes that fit after I nail my April 20 – 175 goal! Hopefully in size 14 :crossed:

2. Change up my weight lifting routine. I started experimenting more with free weights last week and like where that’s going.

3. Go to 2 classes that I have never attended before at the Y: spinning and pilates ball

That’s all I can think of for now. All of you have a fantastic April and good luck with your goals.

i thought i would bump this up for us as we are just over a week out from the month being over.

how is everyone going with their goals for the month?

Hmm... I'm doing so-so. I've been terrible with my water and I haven't been able to move my ticker yet... Though I have lost weight (I was around 199 at the beginning of the month, now I'm back to ticker weight). Exercise has been okay. Been walking 3x a week if nothing else. I have been doing really well logging food into fitday, though, until the past couple of days when I've been thrown off. So I'm doing okay. Maybe I can make my April goal of moving my ticker in the next week -- all I gotta do is lose a pound! :)

I am doing pretty well. I had set a goal of being at 145 pounds by the end of april...well only one pound to go...lol...and I exercise 5 times a week and sometimes more. I just need to work on the water instead of diet coke thing....but I have a few weeks left :)

My first half of April was rocky, but I'm trying to pick it up for the rest of the month. So far so good! :)

- I'm no where near 1800 minutes for this month, I had the flu for 8 days, and have spent the week and a half since then slowly getting back into exercise, incorporating a little bit almost everyday
- Doing very well on water!
- I've logged about 80% of this month, a significant improvement
- Calories have been pretty good most days

So far I've lost 15 lbs. this month (having the flu for a week+ certainly added to that), so I'm thinking that I must be doing pretty well.

How is everyone else doing on their goals?
