I'm at work too! As you could probably tell from my like.. 20lj updates. I'm trying not to psych myself out of this kickboxing class. I'm going to go home, get dressed and drive to the gym without sitting around and thinking about it.

Ok.. so... yea, I'm ready to be skinny now.
When I sit around and think too much that is the thought that comes into my head.

Anyway, who knows where everyone is... maybe I scared them off.

I'm here! Lizzie, that's so funny, I have been updating my LJ too much lately too.

I worked from home and finished early, so I was watching Oprah and Dr. Phil.

Wasted Thermos: Good luck at Kickboxing, you are going to love it! Don't worry! you are going to be fine, after one class you will catch on like everyone else, everyone has to show up to learn, so everyone has been in your place, I'm sure there will be other new people there with you.

I'm depressed because school is starting for me next week, and I will have to give up my kickboxing class, I'm an addict!

Anyways, have fun!! you are going to LOVE it!

I'm here! I've been MIA for a few weeks. Busy, busy, busy. My wedding is in a week and a half! AAAAHHHH! I have been working out a lot. Walking has relieved a lot of my stress. I wasn't supposed to get stressed out. This is an informal wedding with a barbeque for Pete's sake!

I think I have to go back to work full-time. They just got the 9th baby at daycare and as soon as the 10th spot is full, I have to take Kate full-time or they can give away my spot. I am missing all of the calls at work anyway. Apparently people only call real estate offices in the morning. I go every afternoon and nada. If I take the punkin in the morning, than I can catch more calls and hopefully start to make some money. Uggh.

I might end up getting a waitressing job a couple days a week just to pay for daycare. I hate feeling this strapped. I have to work to keep Kate in daycare, I have to put her in daycare so I can work. Seems silly to me! At least waitressing I would make money and exercise at the same time. That was my secret to being skinny before. One day wearing my pedometer, I measured 27,000 steps. I was pooped afterwards, but that is almost 3 times you need in a day!

Blah, blah, blah. Sorry for the babble. Can you tell I'm stressed? I'll hopefully be here more often after the big day.

Meredith--I work in a restaurant anywhere from 2-4 shifts a week. It really is great to have no choice but be moving for hours at a time (as far as exercise is concerned). However, be careful of temptations! We often have "mess-ups" in the kitchen--a whole appetizer made that ended up being voided, so it's free food dor us. Not good! I ended up having a handful of fried onion straws because of this last week. I can convince myself NOT to order food there easily enough--after all, I want to keep the money I earn, not spend it on the food I had to serve to earn it. Be very wary of the free food, though...other than that, its a great way to exercise, meet people, and earn some CASH (cold, hard cash is the best part about it--no waiting for pay day!).

I used to be a bit of a flirt in my single days and I ate so much free food from my old restaurant. In fact, I dated the Sous chef for a while and everyone was convinced it was for creme brulee! I had a free dessert every shift that I worked there and most days were double shifts! When I was bartending, I added a free drink or four on to that, too! I have no idea how I was still so skinny!

The most recent resaurant I worked in was an Italian one run by the Soup ****. If he even caught you sneaking a piece of bread you would be fired. I was on my best behavior there! I need to find another place like that! There is a popular sports bar type place that is hiring. I might try to do lunches, those are busy and fast. I know I wouldn't sit around and eat if my other option would be to go pick up my baby girl!

I've been MIA for a couple days too.... TOM.... you know what I mean??? I also started school on Monday, so then I was studying the first chapter of my EMT book. Then I bought the "confessions of a shopoholic" book, it's great... .I can relate to the great feeling of spending money. I can't put it down... and I'm going to have to buy "shopoholic takes manhattan" when I am done. Tuesday I read and walked all day. Today I read some more and went for a walk and played Medal of Honor on my brother's xbox. Now I'm at work.

I'm here, but I'm about to leave to take Jobe to his second day of kindergarten. Man, I don't know how you gals handle getting up this early. I have a new found respect for all of you!

Once you get into the habit, it's hard to stop. I didn't even set the alarm while I was at my conference and I woke up at 5:10 the first day and 5:45 the second so I could go work out.

I used to sleep in late all the time (college, anyone?), but now that I get up at 4:30 every morning during the week, I find it really difficult to sleep past about 6 on the weekends most of the time (which is still "sleeping in" in comparison ).

Yeah, well the problem is that I am still in college. I go to University full-time, plus I'm taking ministry training courses. I also signed up to volunteer for just about everything at Jobe's school...Monday - make copies of the school newsletter and hand them out to all the classes, Tuesday - help out in the office, Wednesday - work in the media center, and Friday - serve and pass out pizza and oversee the kids during lunch. Oy, what have I gotten myself into? Oh well...at least I get three hours to myself on Thursday! The real problem will be finding time to do my homework. Up until this point I have been a night-owl, doing most of my homework between 11:00 at night and 4:00 in the am. This is going to take some getting used to!
