MINS SO FAR : 855/1500 Slacking this month need to move it into gear!
  • I'm up for a challenge:

    I would like to lose 10 lbs, i can do this, 2 lbs a week! = 160

Workout at least 5X a week,
    3 cardio days
    2 weights days

cont. bringing lunch to work, no fast food, but out to resteraunt ok....
  • So, my goals will be:
    1) Lose 10 lbs
    2) Maintain exercise and eating while visiting my sister
    3) Run a mile non-stop, and cut at least 30 seconds from the time
    4) Add more weight training to my exercise
    5) Do one real push-up, not the girly kind

    That's all for now
    Christine
  • Definitely in need of something here. I have promised myself not to look at the scale for two months. So no weight goal for now.
    1) Not skip a scheduled workout
    2) Watch my portion sizes and stop eating when not hungry.
    3) Don't skip breakfast.
    4) Eat one more serving of veggies per day
  • 1) Home - get in all Total Body Makeover work outs (5 days cardio, 1 day double cardio, 3 sets of all strength training exercises)

    2) Vacation/The Cruise - get in at least 30min of cardio every other day

    3) Learn to cook/eat 2 more vegetables

    4) Stop eating 2-3 hours before bedtime

    5) Lose 10lbs from whatever I weigh tomorrow (my weekly weigh-in day)
  • now that i'm finally back from europe (so fun!) i guess it's back to watching what i eat! my july goal is to lose 8 lbs (2 lbs every week) and get into the 140s!
  • My july goals are

    1. To reach 212 lbs - which will be 10% of my starting weight lost! So a loss of 11 lbs by July 31st.
    2. To exercise daily for at least 30 minutes.
    3. To not eat fast food, but pack a lunch instead.
  • I've always wanted to start a challenge
    so how about
    1) workout 5-6 days a week (the 6th will prob be a hike or something fun)
    2) watch that I don't eat more than I need to - i do not need to be super full.
    3) save money oh wait - not an weight goal
    4) go down in dress size, or my clothes must be loose!
  • Jina's July Goals:

(1). Cardio at least six days/week.
(2). Strength training at least two days/week.
(3). A loss of five pounds, which would put me at 165.
  • I love the 1500 min. idea - mind if I borrow it?
    Including:
    strength training 2x/week
getting to or near virgin pounds
  • Hmmm . . . here are my goals:

    - work out at least five days a week (3-4 running, 2 strength/circuit training)
    - get my mile time under 11 minutes, preferably down to 10:30 (I'm 11:04 right now)
    - run 5K in 36 minutes
    - this one may not be possible b/c of time constrains, but improve my endurance so I can run 5 miles
    - do a girly style push-up! I've been working on this one for months
    - weight-wise . . . lose 3 lbs.
  • My goals for July…

    1) Stick to 1200-1400 calories a day of healthy food which means grocery shopping and minimal eating out. NO cheat days!!
    2) No more than 4 alcoholic drinks a week. Either light beer or grey goose&soda w/splash of cranberry.
    3) 5X cardio and 2X strength a week

Atleast once I want to join a challenge and achieve all my goals. It would be so awesome. I can't imagine even after a month of sticking straight OP how much greater I would feel. I CAN DO IT!!! (I'm going to have to keep repeating this to myself)

I'm going to take this one very seriously and make a weekly checklist to make sure I'm sticking to it. I desperately need to do something right now. I'm out of control!

Let's keep each other posted on how we are doing to keep ourselves accountable!!
  • My goals are to curb my sweet tooth habit, drink more water and work on putting more daily steps on the pedometer!

And also to lose 5lbs (putting me down to 148lbs).
  • OK, my goals are

    •do weights at least 2x
    •Pilates 2x
    •stop snacking after dinner
•cut back on the diet coke

    6) Not to be too hard on my self!
