Default Oh my gawd!

Ok, for those of you that have seen my past few posts on here about my goal wanting to be met by September 2nd, for it's when I'll see my 'crush' again - it's totally on now! If you have any kind of encouragement to send me, private message it to me or whatever, I am going to need it. Either that or I'll read it here in posts, but I don't think what happened to me yesterday was a coincidence...

My parents, brother, his fiance and I drove 300 miles away to see my mother's hometown high school baseball team play in their last game before the state tournament (by the way, they won - Yea Wildcats!)...I was completely psyched that they won. So after the game, we all went to the local mall because it had been so hot at the game. I told my mom how weird it was that all day long we hadn't run into anybody that we knew because we spent the first 8 years of my life in the city and some of my dad's family still lives there and my dad knew alot of people there anyway. So we're about to walk out of the store we parked in front of at the mall, and my mom goes over to the guy's clothes section for some odd reason. I kid you not, and I would never imagine in a million years something like what happened would happen to me, but I look up, and lo and behold, guess who is coming toward us in the opposite direction!??! The guy I have been talking about on the message board that I've had the crush on for the past 6 years! I just walked up to him and said, "Hey! I know you!" and he says, "Oh my god, what are you guys doing here?! I would have never recognized you, you look so different!" Needless to say, that was the ultimate motivator for me to try to knock this last 30-40 pounds by September 2nd

I don't think you're ever old enough to have crushes *LOL* But then again, considering I'm 23 and didn't start dating til last fall (the first of which only lasted 2 months and the guy was an *#( anyway, I guess it's all new to me

The Wildcats baseball team I was talking about up there played in their semi-final game today and won 7 to 6. *woohoo* Tomorrow is the final 1A state championship. I am so hoping they win the whole thing The tallest guy on the team just got drafted within the past 24 hours by the New York Mets - he is awesome coming from such a small town

Well, the Wildcats went to the state tournament yesterday...they lost 10-5, but the umpires blew so many calls, it was unreal. Our pitcher tried 2 times to pick an opposing player off at first base; on the third try, the opposing player was an entire 12 inches at least away from the base and our first baseman had his glove laying on the guys back practically the whole time the other guy was sliding back into first and the first base umpire called the kid safe. *go figure* But the biggest play that made the whole game look really bad was when one of our players TOTALLY missed getting tagged by the opposing team as he was running for home and the umpire called him out, which, had he counted our player safe, our team would have gone ahead 6-5. The coach from our side came out and got in the umpire's face about it, everyone in the stands even knew that our player should have been called safe. From that point on, the opposing team got whatever they wanted. Their players were saying that our pitcher was hitting them on the elbow with the ball and it wasn't even close, just so they could walk all of their players. I swear, it was enough to make a preacher cuss.
