How are we doing - January's nearly half over, can you believe it?
I've been keeping my calorie intake between 1200-1600 for the past week and have been doing really well at exercising too. I've been taking in more and more water - hitting my goal of 64 oz. about 70% of the time.
I think I'm at some kind of evil plateau though - the weight just isn't coming off. Meaning I have to work harder.
I've lost a few inches in January so far, and I'm happy to lose more even if the scale still doesn't budge. My January goal however is to see the needle on the scale move a little bit. I feel so much better, and look so much better, than when I started here--but I want my signature to post a bigger loss than 5 lbs.
OK. I think I can remember my goals (at least some of them, anyway)...
(1). Get to 177 (Started January at 182).
(2). Begin strength training at least two days/week.
(3). Cardio at least five days/week.
I might have had more, but these will work. So far, I've lost a pound. I've been doing Pilates every other day and cardio about every day. So, I'm on track. I just need to lose some more weight!
Checking up on January goals as February sets in around me...
My eating spiraled out of control in January - I went from 1200 to 1500 to 1600 to 1800 to 2000 cals. per day being "accepted "by me - not good. We'll save that for maintenance. So I'm back on track in February, trying to keep my intake on the low side as not to allow for the kind of eating behavior I allowed myself last month. Exercise was okay, but I slacked off towards the end. My water intake has been better and better all the time - I've upped it to 3 L's a day now.
