  • I'm going to try and start couch to 5k. I say try because it went from being my favorite fall weather (max of low 70's during the day) to a high of 90 today!
    I may hold off until it cools down on Monday to begin but I want to do something today... Maybe it's time to go find my Jillian micheals videos. How is everyone doing today?

  • Triumph For Today: Definitely going to the gym even though I was SO sore all day. Once the weights started moving I didn't even realize I was sore. We'll see what tomorrow brings, but I just felt good!

    Struggle: I'm still struggling with desserts. I love chocolate, and my husband loves dessert but I need to have more self control to say no, I'll have some fruit instead, or a glass of chocolate milk!
  • Dessert is an issue I have also. I always want something sweet after we eat. I started making some fruit smoothies. That has helped a lot.

  • I just joined this forum today after completely binging this week because of going out for friend's and family birthdays. I knew I had to put a stop to it after I went to the bathroom yesterday at work to eat a massive slice of carrot cake! Oy! I could use a buddy as well. Looking to reach a mini goal of losing 25 pounds in 7 weeks in time for going to a wedding in Ireland.
