Ok, so here's my plan:

1.) 10 min stretching - every day
2.) Lift weights - 7 days out of the 20
3.) 25 min HIIT run - 5 days out of the 20
4.) 15 min HIIT jump rope - 10 days out of the 20
5.) Have one cheat-day which will be our anniversary on the 17th

I think I'm going to check in here on the thread here every day so that I get into the swing of it before the challenge actually starts. Doesn't help that I went out for Mexican food and margaritas last night.

I'm definitely in! I was soooo out of the last challenge before it even started, LOL! August 11 to 31 is PERFECT!

I'm still not sure about what I want my goals to be for this challenge yet.

Got to Day 14 last time. Ready to try again! I'm going to stick to similar goals as last time.

Goals for my 20 days:
  • I will exercise everyday.
  • I will drink at least 1.5L of water each day.
  • I will keep a minimum on junk food/fast food.
  • I will eat lots of fruit.

I have already been following my plan for this challenge for 7 days perfectly! If I can keep it up through the challenge itself that will be the entire month of August. I feel awesome - I really needed this jump-start!

Maybe I should add some more goals...

I have to change my goals since I don't have a jump rope yet and I won't have one in time.

1.) 10 min stretching - every day
2.) Lift weights - 7 days out of the 20
3.) 25 min HIIT run - 5 days out of the 20
4.) Drink last 2 cups of water/green tea no later than 8:30pm
5.) Have one cheat-day which will be our anniversary on the 17th BUT don't buy junk food in huge packages. Single items only and of course only limited amounts.

Yay...day one of the challenge is here! I just got rid of some peanut butter pretzels that were in my desk. I gave them away so that I wouldn't be tempted. I'm going to find some time to get some squats out of the way too. I want to ban this knee fat forever!

Yay! First day of the challenge! Hope everyone's day is going well so far. Mine is! =)

Chickie, good job on getting rid of the pretzels!

My long weekend vacation is starting on Thursday, I'm getting my game plan together. I'm visiting my aunt and thankfully we are close enough to where she doesn't bat an eye when I show up at her house with my own food for the whole weekend. So I'm hoping that my "stay under 2000" goal should not be too hard.

Yay! Got back from my backpacking trip early so I didn't have to miss any of the challenge Did 25.4 miles in 3 days with a 60lb pack haha Not feeling too sore surprisingly, even walked some miles with my mom today. Intuitive eating has been great!

Chickie Great job getting rid of the pretzels!

Daki Sounds like you have some awesome solid plans for eating! I know I always do best when I plan and measure out all my food for the day

Daki I'm so jealous that you're taking some vacation time. I need to take some myself.
25.4 miles?! Wow Dottington, that is hardcore!

I'm feeling really tired today...not sure why. Maybe because I'm back on my low carb diet and it's going to take some time for my body to adjust? Oh well...I know it will be worth it.

ChickieBoom haha thanks! Sorry you're feeling tired :/ Hope you get past it soon!

Did some more walking with my mom today. I love being active. Eating has been surprisingly good. Its always been the thing I've struggled with the most, so I'm really happy that for once its actually not a total struggle!

How's everyone else doing?

Hoopty Oh no You can still follow your plan though and then you'll be super prepared for the next challenge!

How's everyone doing?

I weighed myself today and I guess I still must be retaining water :/ Eating has been good. I remember for the last challenge days 2-3 were the hardest for me so I'm glad its not as bad this time.
