I finally broke 180! I want this weight to go away so badly. I don't hate my body like I did 15 pounds ago, so that is a plus, but I want to be slender again. I want to feel sexy, I want to feel back to "normal" and wear my jeans I use to wear 2 years ago (that are still in my closet). BUT for now, I broke 180! 15 lbs lost feels so good and I never thought I would see it

In 2012 I:

- Lost over 70 lbs from April to December
- Ran an 11 minute mile
- took the management of my health by the horns
- Made a new friend
- Cycled 6 miles, once a week for a few months
- Learned how to bake artisan breads without a breadmaker
- Created the prettiest and tastiest birthday cake I could
- Learned about tea from a tea sommelier
- Finally understood football and caught every single Saints and Steelers game.
- Had my first endoscopy. Piece of cake!
- Realized that I have a boring life and that's OK. Sometimes it's good to be boring!!

In 2012 I...

...went to couples counseling and saved my marriage.
...fell in love with my husband all over again.
...found a work out regiment and committed to it.
...completed my first 5k, 10k cycling (33miles) and triathlon.
...forgave myself for the mistakes I've made.
...learned to love myself again.
...found inner peace.

I didn't do too much in the way of weight loss but here it goes!

In 2012 I...

Quit smoking! (I was a smoker for seven years!)
Quit binge drinking. (Fell off the wagon a bit over the holidays but drinking really makes me unhappy.)
Learned to knit and crochet!
Did some soul searching and found some inner strength I hadn't noticed was there.
Became a college freshman and have done alright so far, though I'm only into my 3rd semester.
Really overhauled my eating habits. (I was the type of person to live on processed foods. I always tried to lose weight eating prepackaged Lean Cuisines and drinking diet soda, eating yogurt that was mostly sugar. I finally learned how to really scrutinize a nutrition label. I was also vegan for about 6 months before deciding it wasn't for me, but I learned tons of things, good and bad, about the food industry during that time.)
I gave running a shot and found out it's not as bad as all that! I actually like it, but I'm a bit too big for it still but it's still a giant fitness goal of mine.
I actually gained 30 pounds, but gaining that 30 pounds helped me to sit down and really do some thinking. I realized I was floundering around, trying everything but with no insight as to why I hadn't had success in the past. It made me realize I have issues with binge eating. I have been able to tackle that head on now and, while I'm still stuck at 260lbs, I feel much more confident and believe 2013 will bring some good weight loss and fitness accomplishments.

And the biggest thing I did in 2012 was set a goal for my career and my future.

YOU GUYS ARE ALL AWESOME!!!
