That's great FatSass. I don't have the willpower to avoid my scale for a month haha

jaimie1980 08-28-2013 09:57 AM

In a two week lull here, bouncing from 185-187. I was really hoping to see 179.9 by the 13th of Sept, but that might take a small miracle at this point. Boo!!

So with the start of the semester, the looming visit from TOM, and the stress of everything that needs to be done...I am very unhappy with the scale.

Hey everyone! Looks like this thread decided to die for a little while, but I'm hoping to bring it back to life. :) I just got back into the 190s and hope to be seeing the 180s by halloween :D Hope to see more people in here soon!

Heya Trip!

Yeah things have been interesting these past few weeks, so really I have been on to log my weight and that has been about it. I broke up with my boyfriend of four months because he decided that it was okay to booty text me via facebook after not talking to me all day. I set him straight about it, and then we fought, so I ended it.

Then I met this nice guy that same weekend and we have hit it off so far.

But then on Tuesday I found out that my Grandmother went into the hospital again because of her heart. It is super scary every time she goes into the hospital, since I am very close to her and also since the last death we had in the family was her husband about 18 years ago.

I know weak hearts run in my family so it is just another aspect of myself that I am trying to strengthen. Also I may have gotten an internship that I have been lusting over all summer long (the meeting with the head of the foundation is this afternoon) so things have been up and down and all over the place!

Wow, that's a lot of things to go through. My family is filled with bad hearts and lung cancer, so I quit smoking and am trying to get back down into the normal bmi range right now. I've always let myself get de-railed in the past but I need to make it work this time because I'm fatigued by the smallest things. I'm too young for that.

Funny thing Family Medical History!

Also great news! I got the internship! :D *does a happy dance*

I will be creating a social media presence for the Chapman Foundation, which provides tutoring to ESL students in the Philadelphia region.

I am surprisingly very excited about it, but I have to read over a lot of literature and synthesize it all down to fit onto the various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) and link them all to the websites which are also currently being developed. The non-profit is still in the development stages, and I think part of my excitement is due to helping get it up and running.

:carrot: Congrats!!!

Davikatl16 09-26-2013 05:44 PM

Thanks!

So today has been going pretty well for me. Yesterday though I not only burned my hand (and poured my spaghetti down the drain in the process), but I was also nearly run over while crossing the street. Super frustrating.

Exercise wise I feel like today I have been pretty active. I have done about an hour and a half of walking, so things are looking pretty good. :D

Hey Everyone..I'm new here. I am 27 years old, and have been bouncing around in the 180s the last month or so, I am currently 181.4 but every time I've gotten here I go back up. I thought joining the 3fatchicks forum might help and then found myself at this thread. Just wanted to introduce myself. :)

I'm currently doing the squat challenge and I am already seeing results only a week in. My butt is so much smoother on the right side where I had this dent.

Davikatl16 09-28-2013 05:42 PM

I love the squat challenge!! I did it after having a tailor-lady say "Oh my, you have no butt!" while hemming my dress for my sister's wedding last year. I was mortified, but realized that she was right.

PUPMOM5 09-28-2013 06:22 PM

Does anyone have a link to the Squat challenge? Is that something you found on Pinterest? As the fat is going away, I too have been noticing I don't have much a butt going on!

Davikatl16 09-28-2013 06:41 PM

Here you go PUPMOM! :)
