How often do you weigh in?

I'm just curious.

I used to be ridiculously obsessiveness with weighing in and would weigh in multiple times a day. And by multiple, I mean I would weigh in every time I went to the bathroom or could see the scale. It was bad news bears.

For the last month or so I've been trying to weigh in weekly.

Now, I'm contemplating weighing in monthly because I want to focus on the lifestyle, not the number.

So....how often do you weigh in and why?

I weigh myself twice a day, once in morning once at night, I count the ones in the morning

I was always very obsessed with the number on the scales that it got pretty bad. When I started wanting to loss weight in June, I would weigh in daily and sometimes it would be twice or three times a day. It was very disheartening when I didn't see a loss from day to day. I now know that weigh loss can be a slow and long journey but you will achieve your goals if you try your best. Now I have one official weigh in on Thursday (this is because challenges I'm involved in). I will sometimes check on a Tuesday morning to see how I'm doing.

I try to only weigh myself in the mornings every other day. Sometimes it can be a challenge because I just want to know if there is any progress but if I wait I can generally count on a little bit of progress every other weigh in. I think seeing the number drop encourages me to keep going so I like to keep current with it!

hey- i weigh myself everyday (twice- morning and night) but i only count monday morning weigh ins. if i know i've gained (any day then monday morning) i will skip a weigh in, so as not to set off a binge.

i think since i don't count calories and eat intuitively, this keeps in reigned in.

Every morning like clockwork. I think half the reason I go to the gym every morning is to see a lower weigh-in. It's sick, but it gets me moving!

I weigh every morning while I'm counting. If I stop counting, I stop weighing, and that eventually leads to disaster. Having said that, I'll only update my tickers or my MFP maybe once a week.

Every morning. It keeps me accountable. If I eat a fat salty meal the day before, I will see the number go up on the scale for a couple of days-it serves as a reminder what sodium and garbage can do to my body.

I am weighing in every morning. It helps keep me motivated.

I'm an obsessive weigher - I weigh in the morning & at night. I need to stop - it's not helpful mentally. I used to not ever weigh myself, like didn't have a scale & didn't want to know, but that's not ok. That's how I got well over 200lbs. Once a day is plenty really. Even if I'm not on my diet/exercise plan, I weigh now. I weighed everyday while I was pregnant too. I didn't want to regain the 60lbs I lost just because I was pregnant.

I'm quite the opposite of all you ladies.

I only weigh once a week, and that's only if I'm on an active weight loss plan.

If I am not on a weight loss plan, then I just don't weigh myself at all.

I find looking every day just makes me frustrated and then I give up. If I just do it once a week, or even less, I see a difference and its much more encouraging. Especially since I work shift work my mornings are not ALWAYS everyone elses mornings. So I always have mondays off, so Monday's I use as weighing in.

This truly depends on the person. I weigh in every morning, but I don't get obsessive over it and if I see a gain it doesn't (usually) make me binge. I just need to know that I have my brain in weight loss mode every day and for me that starts with weighing in.

I weigh every day in the morning. It helps keep me on track. Even when I do fall off the wagon, it keeps me from falling off for too long.

I weigh myself at least once a day. I told myself I'd stop doing that this time around, but I'm kind of obsessed with doing so. :/ I probably won't weigh on the weekends, if I'm at my mom's house though...I hate switching between scales!

Of course...I could always bring the one that's here...*coughs*
