Soooo Over the 190's and 180's...
So, I haven't been in the 190's for too long but when I first got here I had trouble getting under the 199 mark, and I can already feel the mental block of the "190's and 180's" setting in!!!!
SO I'M SAYING "NO!" (Actually it's a "H:censored: NO!") I'm leaving the 190's AND the 180's behind me THIS MONTH!!! Sep. 1st - Sep. 30th! Anyone with me? Anyone have their own September goal? |
You can do it! Kick their butt! I've got my fingers crossed that I can do the same to the 150s this month...

Me too!! I was stuck in the 190's for TWO YEARS!!! I just recently broke into the 180's this summer and I'm ready to get the heck out!! This month I'd like to get into the 170's, heck, even if the scale reads 179.9 by October 1st, I'll be happy!!! We can do it! Good luck ladies! ;)

YES!!!! I have been in the 180s-190s since February. I am ready to say goodbye to them forever. I want to be firmly in the 170s by October 1st.

Me too! I have been in the 190's - 180's since last may (2011) I am so ready to break my mental block and get down to 170's and lower! This month I am with y'all!

I'm back on this board after a long hiatus with nothing but weight GAIN, reaching my new highest of 195 this summer! I would love to be in the low 180's by the end of this month, trying to take it slow this time with my major goal being getting to the gym 4 times a week or more.

Ok, so, yes, I know it was my fault... I didn't excercise NEARLY enough and I wasn't as strict with my diet as before... BUT I'm still super frustrated!!! How do I force myself back into the routine??? I guess I just have to do it. Not think, just do... I think that's the key. Hmph! Sorry for ranting like this... But ok, you guys will hear it here first, next week I'm in the 180's! That's it. Like it or not, I'll force myself to stick to the workout schedule and my eating "plan". |

Ok... So Other than that one time that I was inspired by all of your responses, and one other time at some point within the last three weeks, I haven't worked out!!! Three weeks without a serious workout!
I was getting soooo angry with myself, and I knew that all I have to do is get started, but I just couldn't get myself to step on the treadmill! Once I actually put the DVD into the player, but I never actually worked out to it. I took it out a few minutes later! I was getting angry and frustrated, and I thought "here we go again... I guess this is as good as my weight is going to get..." But then yesterday I decided that come **** or high water I am working out tomorrow. Not only that but I decided not to let myself off the hook with respect to my missed workouts and made a plan to catch up on every minute that I missed this week in the next three days! So, I've already completed the workout I was supposed to do today, but now I still have to do the workout that I haven't done yesterday. It may sound cruel and extreme BUT hopefully next time that I give myself the permission to not workout, I'll remember the punishment that lies ahead!!! I AM GOING TO GET OUT OF THESE DARN 190'S AND 180'S THIS MONTH!!! |

I just saw someone on the Halloween Weightloss challenge go from 180'something to 179 this week and I am soooooo pumped to catch up!
I weighed in today at 191 having lost 1lbs since last week. I'm not terribly excited but I'll take a loss over a gain or no change any day :) But next week I will for sure be in the 180's! YAY! I can't wait! I need to lose at least 2 pounds to get there and I think I can certainly do that. I am six pounds away from no longer being obese, and I'm hoping that it will only take me two weeks to get there! How is everyone else doing??? |

I myself have been struggling with staying OP and ups and downs since I got under the 200 mark this time. I would REALLY love to see the 180s before the end of the month and be that from farther away from the dreaded 2 that I will never see again!! WE CAN DO IT!!! |

Hi All! I weighed in at 199.2 this morning so I am heading over to this thread. I am excited to be here, but hopefully I can pass through quickly. I have a super ambitious goal to be 181.4 by Halloween and then into the 170's shortly after that. I don't think I will make it to those quite that quickly, but this will at least keep me motivated.

Phew.. so I'd been hanging around 185-186 this past week, woke up this morning thinking it would be more of the same, but lo and behold, I've had a "woosh". I was getting really frustrated given that I've recently amped up my exercise by adding cycling (haven't been this active in years so I hoped that perhaps it would make me magically drop lbs overnight, haha) and I still wasn't losing. I can't believe how much the weight loss has slowed.. it's crazy, but that's the way it goes I guess.

chloe799: Hello! Yeah, night-time snacking in tough... What I did is force myself into doing a ight workout at night, just a light walk -- but that means that I can't eat for like an hour after dinner, then I do the workout, and then I need to shower but which point it's bedtime and too late to eat. I make the workout something easy because if it's hard I won't do it, but I know that if I don't do something physiically active, I'll just eat... fuct: Congratulations! Wow, you're getting really close to being under the 180 mark!!! That's fantastic!!! You see? You didn't give up and so when your body was ready it let go of that weight! keep going! |
Well my weight in day is officially a Monday but i had a sneaky weight in this morn and so far im down 2 and half pounds :D yay. This has given me the determination to have a good weekend. I need to get out the 180's and i will do it.

So far I'm holding steady in the upper 180's (Not officially since weigh-in is on Monday). Desperately want to lose just one more pound so I can add another flower to my signature Monday (I don't care if that sounds silly...)

Unfortunately you have to wait the minimum time since becoming a member(I think it's 30 days, but it should say on your profile page). Then you'll be allowed to create a personalized signature where you can add the tracker...
It's a bummer to wait, but it feels great when you have it! ;) |
I have been avoiding the scale recently after getting back into onederland. TOM is making it more difficult stay in onederland, but I have managed to. Hopefully that means I will lose quickly once Aunt Flo leaves.

This morning I weighed in at 198.0 on my parent's scale since I am dog/house sitting for them. I will need to weigh-in on my own scale tomorrow so that I am consistent, but at least I am going in the right direction.

1YR- Thanks for thinking of me:):) I've been a little sick with a head cold and not really hungry because I can't taste anything so I've been forcing myself to eat basically. Good news is for 2 days in a row i've been at 193 point something so I think I've broken the middle 190's hump!! Woohoo!!!! Now If only I can feel better and start working out again I'll be GRAND:)
GatorGirl- Congrats on moving farther into the 190's!!! Maybe once you step on your own scale it'll be even lower KMFX! I think my body is backwards when it comes to TOM, like the week leading up to it my weight stalls or goes up and then as soon as it hits I get a huge WOOOSH downward. I just bloat really badly for 1-2 weeks beforehand depending on how late I am lol HAPPY SUNDAY! |
Blcarter - My last two weeks have been so slow, so I hope you are right. It has been a while since I tracked my weight so consistently, so I'm not really sure how my body/weight responds to TOM. I'm only 4 lbs away from my first mini goal - the 'overweight' BMI. I hope to see it this month.

I am REALLY hoping that I can get there in about a week, but definitely by the end of the month I want to be done with the obesity :censored:, FOREVER!!! -- My TOM is super unpredictable... Sometimes I lose weight on it, sometimes I gain. Obviously I prefer the first, and am very greatful when that happens ;) This morning I weighed in a pound heavier!!! I'm sooo frustrated! I don't know if it's becasue of TOM (should be here today/tomorrow) or what, but it's so super frustrating because for the last couple if days I desperately wanted to lose another pound by tomorrow's weigh-in deadline, and now it looks like I need to lose two... I'm hoping it's some form of water retention, and I can still hit my target tomorrow. |
It's TOM for me too. Bloating from that and a day off plan means I haven't dared to weigh myself. If I see 185 again, I might just throw the scale out the window. I usually weigh in every morning but I'm going to resist temptation for a few days, hopefully after TOM is over, I'll be down a couple..

So I am about at 188 right now, I really don't want to plateau here. Normally I plateau every 20 lbs so I need to get down to at least 180 before I do that. I am hoping to reach 175 by Halloween.

I know I shouldn't have done it, but I hopped on the scale midday. I was down two pounds from this morning. That NEVER happens. I will see what tomorrow brings. Mondays are my challenge weigh in days and Wednesdays are my personal weigh in days. Lets see if maybe I get a whoosh. Wouldn't that be nice. *crosses fingers*

This morning was my official weigh in and im down 5 pounds. I'm so pleased because im now only 4 away from 180 :)

I, on the other hand, have gained a pound since my weigh-in earlier in the week :( but still at an overall loss :) , though pretty sure that after today (after everything that I ate AND TOM first day) tomorrow won't be pretty :( , actually, maybe I won't even weigh myself tomorrow morning... I realized today that my original plan of aggressive weight loss would have had me at 164 by Halloween, and now that def won't happen. But starting tomorrow I am recommitting myself to stay on plan! |
