Default I noticed something last night.

So. My boyfriend and I are moving tomorrow (not a crucial bit of information, I'm just excited) so everything is kind of chaotic at home. Having to go up and down the stairs with boxes roughly 80 million times a day. Last night I was finishing up the last of my laundry and I was carrying the basket upstairs to hang things and put them away.

As I'm climbing the stairs I realize that I'm use to this feeling. I know this feeling. Out of curiosity, I hopped on the scale with my laundry. I weighed 206.4. When I started this whole thing, I weighed 207. No wonder it felt familiar, I use to do that every day without carrying anything!

I laughed really hard then ran downstairs to tell my boyfriend about it. Later that night he picked me up (A thing he's only started doing in the last month) and when he put me down I said "Now imagine I was holding my laundry basket! That was the old me!" We were both pretty amused =)

That is a great NSV! Well, it's a scale victory too I guess.

I sometimes think about how much more I can do in step class than I used to be able to do and then wonder, "Could I do what I do if I was carrying the extra 30 pounds I had when I started the step class?" Probably not. It takes a lot of work to haul all that weight around!

Good for you!

What a great realization! When I'm lifting I'll strap on weights to my legs to do leg lifts. Anyways, sometimes I take a break and grab some water, just walking to the water fountain is so much harder (and I don't even put on as much weights and I used to wear!).

Wow that's so true!!! I never really think about that when I'm carrying laundry, heavy purse etc. but when I first started out I was carrying around almost 30 pounds more than I am now!!! No wonder I had trouble making it up one flight of stairs!!!

Congrats on your progress and about the move!
