Default Good news for me--a little nervous though!

SO, the good news is that I was offered a job a few days ago that I've wanted ever since I was about 10!! I used to attend a summer stock at a local theater when I was younger and LOVED IT! I looked forward to that 8 weeks every summer. The teachers were all great mentors that I totally looked up to. Turns out that I get to be one of those teachers this summer teaching dance, movement, and musical theater!

That being said, I weigh more now than I did when I attended this summer program. I'm just nervous that I won't be near my weight loss goal by June and that I might not do as good of a job as I'd like due to my weight. I'm not out of practice, as I took dance and drama classes throughout college. There was a time when I had dance classes 4 times a week in addition to play practice for whatever show I was currently in. More recently it's been a 1 hour dance class twice a week or playing Just Dance on kinect (lol).

Basically, I'm super happy! BUT I have extra motivation to get my butt in gear for this summer!!!

Congratulations ! That is about 12 weeks away if you could lose 1-2 pounds a week, you would be getting near goal.

Congratulations! That sounds like a cool summer job. It sounds like you're still taking the weight off, so you'll probably be in a pretty good place by June. And even if you didn't lose anything else, it would be a lot easier to work at 187 than it would have been at 210, right?

Thanks all! You're right. I'm going to work hard between now and then to be prepared!

Congratulations on the job. My guess is not many people can say they've got the job of their childhood dreams.
