Check out the documentary "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead" - it will give you tons of info and you can find it on Netflicks Insant. Some people juice as a supplement for their diet or meal replacements, it sounds like a lot of people in this thread are doing juicing fasts or "reboots" to over saturate their bodies with micro-nutrients and get their bodies, minds and tastebuds back on track.

Honestly I don't know about the gaining weight back, but if you juiced and then started eating again slowly and *wisely*, still watching the content of your food, I don't see it being a huge issue, but I don't have the answer for you.

I just read that you are juicing for breakfast/lunch and then eating a high protein dinner. How is that going for you?

I am thinking of doing it for breakfast and lunch and eating a good dinner so that I can keep going to the gym at night. Everything I have read says if you do a juice fast you can only do light exercise.

It's been going great for me and now I'm only doing the high protein every other day or on whatever days I'm feeling hungry. I have been able to keep up with my normal gym routine, no issues!

That is good to know. I love going to the gym, and would rather not change my gym habits! ha

Awesome! I wish I had that kind of dedication. I'm afraid i'm a little too hungry for all day juicing though. I have juiced before to replace a meal and have to say it made me feel lighter and more energetic. I may try to add this back into my diet. Good job on juicing journey/weightloss so far!!

My juicer just came in! I am going to start juicing tomorrow, while my hubby is out in the field for 5 days. Hows everyone's juicing?

Any advice? I love food.
