Yay, I get to start this weeks thread!

I'm very happy this morning because I just ran 10:1s! It's wasn't too hard, but it wasn't easy.

Next, I'm going to increase the distance until I get to 3 miles, that shouldn't take too long.

Go Julia, go!

Ferumbras, I am so sorry about your bikes. That is such a drag.

I'm slowwlllyyy getting all my weekend-eating bloat off. Bleghck!

Taking my Strength class tonight with a crazy (but effective) instructor....she's made of muscle and does NOT let you cheat. It's kind of stressful but great, because you're guaranteed to put forth your best effort every time.

Time to get stuff done...

Happy Monday everyone!

So I spoke with the police and they have my bike, but no word yet about my husband's. *sigh*

In better news, I bought new running shoes after getting my gait analyzed. Hopefully this'll significantly reduce the stress on my knees.

Good for you, doubting!

FPSJ: Brave of you! Have fun!

So.... yesterday I was a little bad. First of all, I skipped Yoga to watch the hockey. Which, come on, I really had no choice.

I planned on having one beer (Barking Squirrel, yummy) but then the game was going so badly and I had so much thwarted fan related stress that I got another one. And then some guy got me a tequila shot. (It was 4-0 and the end of the first period, I needed it.)

...and I also had a PBLT, but hey, Peameal Bacon is better than the regular kind, and I did get whole wheat bread.

But! I did somehow drag my butt to spinning at 6 in the morning. Even though I had this weird moment during the mountain climbing track when I zoned out and started thinking about what I was going to do for Pride week and wether I'll have to take the dog to the park this morning, I still call it a win.

This morning I had my third consecutive horrible crap run, and I've just felt lethargic and gross all afternoon/evening. Really hungry too, dinner was a modest sized salad because I had some "extra" at lunch.

My weight is the same as ever, can't seem to get motivated to drop under 130 ever. It's the same predictable pattern of losing and gaining the same 4 lbs week after week.

Ferumbras-- I did the sneaker fitting thing, too. Oddly enough, they ended up recommending the exact same brand I was wearing. Go figure! I actually loved them anyway, so it just confirmed I was wearing the right kind.

doubtingJulia-- I say count it as a success... primarily because I have never come close to Spinning, or any other strenuous activity for that matter, at 6am. It pretty much negates the PBLT, and it's still a superhero feat!

Krampus-- Glad to see you're still around! Do you think you've just reached your natural weight? I know you said the running lethargy might be weather related. I feel incredibly slow and sluggish when it's hot/humid out. Hopefully you can get some of your energy back, and some perspective on what your weight goals are. It seems like if you're at a point where you can eat and exercise comfortably, you're basically at maintenance. What do you think?

I have a yucky doctor's appointment today, and then many shifts of work ahead of me. Also have to smush in a 3 mile run.

Siiiigh. Crabby.

FPSJ: I also ended up getting the same brand, but a different style and one more suited to running then the cheaper pair I already owned. I tried on several different brands that fit with my bio-mechanics and these just happened to suit me best. So I'm not complaining.

Krampus: I'm also wondering if maybe your body is telling you you're at goal?

doubtingJulia: Good for you for going to spinning today! I still find it hard to get up for a 9am class.

I'm super stressed this week. My 7 month old refuses to sleep at night and wakes every 2 hours..I'm a SAHM at the moment but I have some job interviews scheduled so I'm praying his sleep gets better. Surprisingly I've been able to keep active with cardio and 30 ds.

Here's to a better week

She hasn't posted in weeks and weeks - got a new job. All of 3FC is eerily quiet these days. I guess posting activity isn't quite where it is in the fall and winter when people are cooped up indoors...

Sigh, today was one of those mornings where I woke up so hungry I felt weak and felt like a supermodel. Hopped on the scale and saw I was the exact same weight as yesterday, good mood turned into p!ssy frustration. How did I do this before?

right. new job. she mailed me one time asking wtf i'd gone (lol) and told be about it. well, good for her

i guess only us bored ALTs are cooped indoors during the summer, eh?

aaah, i know how that feels... which is why i've decided to not weigh-in everyday this time around. i know that it totaly kills my mood for the day when i do that!!

I'm still around ish! Just kind of...reading occasionally and not really posting. New job has kind of taken over, that along with my art stuff I have very little free time.

I've put on a kg...after losing it. But I'm aware of the mistakes I'm making and I figure awareness is the first step to getting fully back on track right?
