I've been horrible!! lol i haven't worked out since the begining of june granted though i have still been eating right but i am stuck at 171 and i know untill i start hitting the gym again thats where i'm going to stay! i need motivation! summers are just so hard becuase im always going going my orginal goal still stand 120's by by my b-day in december

jackiedavis87, summers are tough for me too, but you can do it. Have you tried joining any challenges? Joining some here and on MFP have helped me immensely in terms of motivation and staying on track.
lovehopefaith, it's summer here and you would think that living in the blazing southeastern U.S. would make it easier lol, but it doesn't. I have to keep reminding myself that I can't wait until I actually feel thirsty to drink. Stepped on the scale and saw 175.8 lbs. 20 pounds gone and never coming back. :D |

But because i'm still loosing weight, it's hard to find the motivation :/. At the same time, i don't want to get to goal weight and for it to be a hot mess because i haven't been weight training/doing cardio. Plus going to the gym can be great for loosing weight. But argh. lol. 173.6 today - Almost at 30 pounds lost! Feeling a bit like i look exactly the same, but i know it's my mind playing tricks on me - it's also TOM so feeling a bit more bloated etc. 160's here i come! |

My scale batteries died, so no weigh in today. Sad times. Ate well today, hopefully back to 176 range. Can't wait to see 167 as that will be my lowest in 10 years. Got to 168 after atkins (but only started at 178) about 7 years ago. Hopefully mid August will bring me there! |

I am back. I come and go...(go too often). This has been my cycle...work really, really hard loose some weight...maintain for a bit...and then start to gain slowly. I am fairly active, but I am not careful about my food intake when I am not working hard. I realized last August 4th I weighed in at 168, the lowest I have been since blowing up to 195 after I got married and that is what my ticker is set at. (I was trying to avoid posting until I got back down there, but I figured what the heck). Over the past few weeks, I have again set on my journey of working hard with my first goal being 168 by August 4th. I am having a difficult time loosing weight this go-around. I was down to about 172 a few days ago, but then my weight went back up to 176.2 the next day (for no apparent reason). 174.2 yesterday. I am feeling pretty good, but I am frustrated with the lack of weightloss. On a good note, a size M nightgown (shorts and top) that I bought while I was dating, I fit into last night and it looked pretty good (that nightgown did not always fit!) Goals: Aug 4th: 168, weight Aug 4th 2010 September 29th: Less than 165, the weight I was when I got married in 2007 October: 158 or less, my lowest adult weight (when I was in grad school, very active and running all the time) 153lbs, the weight I was in middle school 138-145lbs, Final Goal |

That weight of 176.2 was a fluke. It went back down quickly on par with the other weigh-ins...170.8 this morning...I am feeling good today and hope you all are as well!

Change, glad that was a fluke. I have those days too, often actually, but thankfully they have been going down after a day or two! 174.6 today! Woop! |
