I know just what you mean Sun. I went to function at church last night. Got a little food happy an now I am dreading going to my husband's Christmas party tonight. Ugghh. I just need like two solid weeks, of no crazy food. I haven't found that self control button yet. Until I do, all I can do is pick myself up, dust myself off and get back on track.

Holidays are so hard. I have a really hard time because a lot of foods you only get to eat on special occasions are served. Its hard not to indulge in treats you only get to have once a year:)

ATG i feel the same way. That its all this yummy food and great times with friends. sigh gonna have to really try and get on the treadmill. So i was NOT good today. had a candy bar and some mike and ikes. blah! tomorrow starts a new week. I have a potluck brunch with my gfs. I made vegetable pastries. Since they are deep fried I baked some for me a friend who is also on WW. There will be fruit salad so I will load up on that and the veggie salad too. here we go! |
Hello ladies. So today I had a xmas brunch and I had a little of everything. But not a lot so I am satisfied. I also did the first day of c25k and I feel great. Even thought its 1 in the morning!. Heading to bed. night

174.5 this morning!!! Not sure where that came from!! But I'm psyched! With a Christmas party today and a vacation next week... Hopefully I won't gain too much!

175.7 lbs today! I plan to avoid the scale until.. either next Sunday or the Sunday after (xmas!). Trying a new short term program and I think avoiding the scale would help.

This Christmas party was ok. Had a little of a few things. I definitely drank way too much. Weighed in at 170.2 this morning. Not too bad.

I agree! I love the holidays but hate trying to figure out how to turn dowm treats without sounding rude.

Hey All!
I am still hanging around 161-162 (not less yet), but NSV...I have less back fat. I mean, if I could really nail down my weight loss goal to one physical thing, it would be no more rolls! No more back rolls, no more stomach rolls....and when I checked myself out in the mirror yesterday, I noticed one of rolls was a little less lol. TMI?:o But oh yeah!:carrot: SO...my goal is still 159 by Christmas. I am going to do South Beach Phase I for 5 days and see if that will kick start the scale into the 150s. After that, I'm w/ ATG...everybody seems to be on fire here (I saw everybody's posts on avoiding holiday treats at parties - good for you all!!), so I think I'll stick around this thread until I am able to stay in the 150's for a little a little while...I'm expecting some bouncing around, esp. with the holidays in full swing ;) |
My weight has been all over the place! I seriously weighed 179 a few days ago! I was puffy all over so I know it was water retention.
I am 176.2 today.. Still frustrated at my slow weight loss. Hopefully it starts dropping at a steady rate now. |
FUN - hang in there girlie! I know what you mean about the bloat. I never know where the scale is going to end up - it's ALWAYS a surprise lol. BUT...after a while it'll come down, you know it ;-) Just stay the course.

"Rolls on the left, rolls on the right".....we can make a sfc song out of this kind of material lol That is strange though...in time they'll all go away. I am MAJORLY stalling and starting to get impatient. I mean I"m doing all the right things..eating brownies and coffee cake, and Popeyes chicken...not sure what the issue is :-P but my calories have been really low, and I've been getting some exercise. I think I just have to take the sodium out of my diet. WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING TO LOSE WEIGHT?I'm calorie counting (~1100-1400/day) w/ light exercise. |
OMG ladies. I have been sooo bad. ugh. I NEED to stop eating fatty food. :( I have had so many parties and get togethers. anyways needless to say I am up a bit. Anyways I don't have many parties left and I am starting tomorrow on a very clean cuisine :) You all are doing great!
