When I started WW (pre-exercise), I was weighing daily and getting disappointed because I wasn't losing much. I got so down on myself about it that my friends and family talked me into giving my scale up and only weighing at my WW meetings on Saturday mornings.
Well I am missing my scale. I really enjoy weighing myself, especially since I have added a lot of activity to my routine and am getting results. I have "cheated" twice and weighed myself (we had two scales in the house, I gave my mom my nice digital one and kept my boyfriends crummy one).... last week before WW I weighed and was down about 2 pounds.
Well today I weighed and I'm down 2 more already!
How often do YOU weigh and why? Do you see a downside to daily weigh ins??
...I'm going to Walmart tomorrow and I may buy another scale

I feel that by weighing daily I won't let things get out of control again, I like to be in control. I'd also rather see the scale stuck over a period of days rather than think I'm losing weight only to see at the end of a week that I have been on a plateau or something making it a big disappointment on a weigh in day. I won't hide it, sometimes I weigh in a few times per day- I know this sounds unhealthy and I'm not denying that, for me it's just my way to feel in control of something in my life (all too often I've not been) and I also get gratification on seeing each ounce disappear.
