Default Superbowl Sunday Binge

Somebody help me pick up the pieces after that binge

After eating well all week and working out an hour each day I let Superbowl Sunday ruin my streak. I ate spinach dip (reduced fat... not that it matters!), tortilla chips with salsa, popcorn, 2 timbits (mini doughnuts) and a few pieces of cheescake brownies. Earlier that day all I'd eaten was some fruit and 5 mini rolls of cali sushi. Right now I feel like a real loser, and its making me miserable thinking I've ruined this whole week of weightloss with this one binge. Somebody pull me out of this hole...

Boo...thats all I've got to say.

Yeah, I don't even want to admit what I ate yesterday, lol. I am not too pleased with myself and neither is my stomach. We just have to get back on track from today forward. Don't let that one bad day ruin all your effort so far.

I had a couple of days like that...and then...I realized I was being stupid...stopped and picked myself back up...dealt with the 3lb gain...and then lost 2.6 of it the next week.

You can do this...don't let one blip ruin your success. It's normal for that to happen occasionally. Doesn't make you a failure.

Pfft. Add up those calories -- I'll overestimate:
4 tbsp spinach dip: 300 calories
2 cups tortilla chips: 300 calories
2 cups popcorn: 200 calories
2 mini donuts: 250 calories
3 cheesecake brownies: 600 calories

You say you ate a few pieces of sushi and fruit earlier. Say that was 400. You're still in maintenance range! Don't beat yourself up over it and if you really think you did a little damage, go for an extra run. No worries at all

Agreed not to mention they always say keep your body guessing! So now go back to normal and I'm sure in no time you'll forget all about this dreaded day
