It's true: In June I will be thirty-frickin-years old.

There is no way I'm gonna be fat by then.

So hello to the boards and to all you young thangs! Because I must be the oldest one in here!

Anyone want to join me by being hotter at 30 than at 29???

I have a blog, and I will also check in here with my weigh ins every morning.

Who's in???

HI Becki!

I keep reading about how you HAVE to get the weight off before you're 30, or it gets so much harder.

I can't imagine it being too much harder...

I'm 30 in May and I feel your pain. Staring down 3 decades is intimidating and i don't want to be the same size by then. PLus I have a wedding to look forward to this year! Gotta fit in that white dress and not look like a sausage!

I have these awesome photos of my wedding from behind, where the dress was too tight and my back fat popped over the top. HOTTTT.

But yeah I've heard that lots. It's kinda stupid for me though because it's not like on midnight June 13 it will instantly get harder, lol. It must go in degrees. But I'm using it as motivation anyway.

Welcome!!! That is the journey I am currently on. You only have me beat by age for a few months =) I started in August (at the end of it) in hopes to be fit (AND HOT) by 30!! My birthday is in September!

I also have a blog on. Can't wait to read yours and get some more inspiration! I hope to see a lot more of you around these parts =) Not many of us 29 year olds on this thread =)

Also great to see that you're an East coaster like me! YAY!

I will be 28 in a little over a week, but I am also trying to get this weight off before I turn 30. I figure the older I get the tougher it will be so, so it needs to come off now.

Though I can't wait to be 30, I don't know why it excites me but I think 30 is the new faboulous 20 .
