My old boss used to constantly comment on what i ate at work. I liked to get two crunchy tacos from Taco Bell, which are surprisingly low in calories (like 150 each) and fat, and it filled me up. So now that I'm most likely going to start at another job, I am not going to be telling anyone I am trying to lose weight.

A friend did say to me once, "You're really pretty. You've always been really pretty, and most of us never really noticed you were that overweight until you lost so much. You look great." I really think that is what most people are trying to say. Sometimes the people who are around us all the time don't quite see us as we really are, just like we don't always see ourselves as we really are. And then you lose weight and you look even more amazing than you did before and they're probably a little shocked! So when they compliment you, seriously try not to take it the wrong way. It's a touchy subject, but I'm sure they're trying their best, and they just want to let you know that you look good. :)

sooo you’re amazing and my new best friend. i know i’m a pretty girl, but i have a hard time owning it like you do. in fact, i usually don’t own it at all, unless i’m flirting with a boy and i can tell he’s in to me. only then do i feel like i’m pretty.

I know i’m pretty. but I don’t usually FEEL pretty. So, you’re my new inspiration. teach me!

Yep sometimes saying nothing is the best thing to do. I have a big mouth so keeping mine shut doesn't work, then again I work with a good group of people though they know I'm trying to lose weight theres no judgement if I decide to eat that big mac or whatever. (or they just want to see me get fat again lol j/k)

Haha aw XD When I was at my highest weight, I'd always think, "Well at least I'm still pretty," so now that I've lost some, that "I'm still pretty," has carried over. It used to be that one thing I would always cling to when I felt bad about myself, that at least I was still pretty. Now it's more like I'm happier, healthier, AND pretty, so life is good.

You know that way boys look at you, that totally lets them know they're into you? That makes you feel pretty? You have to get used to looking at yourself like that. Like you're gorgeous and wonderful and the most amazing girl in the world. And faking the confidence until it's real actually helps, as cliché as that sounds. If you look in the mirror every morning and say, "Dayum, I'm good looking," even if you don't really think it's true, eventually you'll start believing it.
