I am also a university student. I work full time and attend school for my Bachelor's full time. I'm constantly on the go. What was dificult for me in the beginning was to be able to plan things..wait...to REMEMBER to plan out my meals ahead of time. I finally got in the habit of packing my snacks, things that didn't require refrigeration. I rely on celery and peanut butter pretty much every day. It is definitely hard. My plan was to be losing on average 10 lbs a month although right now I am averaging 5 lbs. Definitely not in my goal range but finding time to go to the gym is very dificult also!
I definitely agree with the difficulty in finding motivation to go to the gym and also not feel guilty about it.....I've been studying for 6 years now (BSc, MSc and now PhD) and it's just so knackering sometimes and I feel sometimes I should be doing work rather than going to the gym, if that makes any sense! I also find sometimes it's difficult to eat properly, although maybe that's just me and I'm just downright lazy!
I am in the same situation. Going to school and finding time to exercise and plan meals can be a hard task. I guess time management is key.
Today is day 1 on my weight loss and I think when you really want something you try hard to get it.
I'm like so many of you. I finished by BA last year but I'm in a credentialing program to get my teaching credential. Some days, i feel like I barely have time to eat, let alone plan and cook healthy foods.
I'm just learning to pre-plan and when I cook, I cook a lot. I made 18 servings of soup the other day, which has lasted through the week. I've also found that buying only on-plan foods helps. If there is nothing bad in my house, its harder to be OP
