Thanks pokeycactus! I survived it. Did a trifecta of that, spinning, Legs/Back and Ab Ripper yesterday.
Enjoyed Kenpo but my disc is messed up. It skips the first 12 minutes. One week down, 12 to go. Impressed with the results so far. I did think Yoga X was too long though. May switch it out for Plyo. |
Alrighty...I got it. I'm going to do it. And I'm a tad intimidated. But I spent the money. And I am doing this for me! Wooo!
A couple of questions... They are telling me to eat 2,400 calories a day. Thoughts? Are you guys continuing your diets from before or following theirs? Thanks! |
I'm still eating my 1700. Sometimes at night, I'll be HUNGRY so I'll have like, a 100 cal bag of pop corn or an apple or something, just so I don't wake up in the middle of the night and eat the whole kitchen. :D
Generally, though, its HARD for me to get up to my 1700, so I usually have room. And if I dont, I eat anyways, when I'm that hungry. |
How is everyone doing on the program?
I have to confess, I totally botched last week. I did Monday, and then did an Insanity dvd on Tuesday and pulled a muscle or something because I was in a miserable amount of pain the rest of the week. Sooo...I'll be adding that week back in. Which makes my 90 days the Saturday after Thanksgiving. |

Did Cardio X after Spinning today. So have to do Core tomorrow. I'm gonna replace Yoga X with Plyo this week. Oh boy. |
Hi girls! Day 16 down. Have missed a day yet. I just noticed this morning that Plyo is not included in the Lean version at all (unless i missed something). Also, the second phase seems to be much like the first.
Anyways, I'm still enjoying it. I may add plyo in place of cardio some days just to mix it up. I get bored easily. Next week is my first recovery week. I'm off on Thursday this week, so it will be my first time going all the way through Yoga X. I don't hate it, dont love it. |
Day 1 is done! Core Synergistics was fun! I planned to start yesterday, but it didn't happen. I'm not even going to make excuses. I'll do Cardio X tomorrow, and perhaps catch up during my four day weekend.
To be honest, I really enjoyed it. I don't know that I did any move perfectly, but I will. I have something to work for. When I first started researching this program, the length of the dvds turned me off...but I decided to dive in anyway. And you know what? The hour flew by! I know that won't be the case every time, but it's a good start. I have a GoWear fit so it's cool to see that in the time it took to do the dvd, I burned 358 calories, versus the 140 I would have if I sat on my butt. Anyways, I plan to keep seeing you all around! |
Jenn - I did the same thing - subbed in the plyo into the first phase. I like it, it's a good cardio workout.

I shall be done with this before my birthday. The first week in december, to be exact. WHEW.

I'm only down another pound, but my clothes are fitting better every day. Wish I was under 200, but I suppose if I was a size 6 and 200 pounds, I wouldn't care too much :lol: And, glad you are joining us, ade903!!!! :) |
Hi girls!! Down 1.6 pounds from last week! Yay!!!
I had Legs & Back + Ab Ripper today. I don't know what was wrong with me but I was struggling with the leg stuff today. My balance was off and my muscles felt really tired. I stopped the video with about 9 or 10 minutes left over. I did pretty good with the Ab Ripper thought. After tomorrow, I'll be in to the recovery week, which I think my body must be ready for judging from this morning. |
Jenn, awesome job!!!! And yay for the recovery weeks, I love 'em. :) Although, it's always hard for me to get back into the hard routine after taking it a bit easier for a week.
