I'm dipping my toe in. Just finished the first day. Not too terrible but the trick will be getting out of bed consistently.

Hey, mafiaangel, how did you like the first day? Core Synergistics, right?

Katie - I did the Core Synergistics yesterday and worked really hard to hold in my abs and tighten my butt muscles for the first time...holy smokes I am feeling it today. Like, miserably. My glutes feel like two fists, they're so tight :lol:

I just ordered this...my next question: resistance bands or weights? I'm leaning towards resistance bands because I might be doing it in different places. Thoughts?

Pokeycactus, yes! It wasn't as terrible as I feared. And I appreciate the count-down of different exercises. I will admit I didn't do the bonus round.

My thighs are feeling it today. Cardio X is fun, I meant to stack it with Spinning this morning but so cold! :o

88 days..!

Right now, I'm using 5lb weights but I have a 20lb Kettlebell and I want to get some bands. They seem better for traveling.

I haven't tried bands, since I have a wide variety of hand weights, but they show how to use the bands on each move, so I don't know that it matters one way or the other.

I use bands and weights, and I like them both. The bands make me feel more stretchy... If you understand what I mean, lol.

How much do you guys mess with the schedule?

I started on Monday. But I plan on making today my rest day instead of Sunday for this week. I might also need to move Yoga X to a weekend day this week.

I don't do YogaX at all. I want to punch it in the face. I started mid week, and I made my rest day on Sunday, because I'm ALWAYS too busy on Sunday and never have time to work out, at all.

I modify things I cant do, and replace things I hate. :D

It's very changeable!

I mess with the schedule A LOT. I don't feel like I'm getting any "real" cardio in with the plyo or kenpo, and I, like Katie, want to punch yoga in the face. Sooo...here's what my week looks like this week: (I'm in week 7)

Monday: Core Synergistics (from P90X)
Tuesday: Plyo Cardio Circuit (from the Insanity dvd program)
Wednesday: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps (from P90X)
Thursday: Cardio Power and Resistance (from the Insanity dvd program)
Friday: Legs and Back (from P90X)
Saturday: Pure Cardio and Abs (from the Insanity dvd program)
Sunday: Rest

I do the dvds in the morning, and then some nights during the week will run or go to Zumba class.

Following this schedule hasn't hindered my results whatsoever - I'm still getting good muscle definition and am losing pounds and inches.

Ashley - I use both band and weights. I feel like the bands make your muscles work a little differently and there is the added benefit of being able to change the resistance. I only have 5 lb weights at the moment (I really need to buy some 8's or 10's) so on the arm workouts I will switch between the bands and weights depending on what muscle group I'm working.

My goal is to not mess with the schedule too much. On work days, I do have to cut Yoga a little short, but as long as I get in an hour, I'm happy. A lot of my upcoming Yoga days actually fall on days that I have off so I should be able to do the whole thing a few times. I modify moves if I need to, but hopefully by the end of the 90 days I won't really have to modify at all.

I have my rest days on Sundays. This is the only day that hubby doesn't work, so its nice that we can both sleep in together. (Sleeping in in my house means 6:30 to 7am. My little guy is an early riser. But since we both get up at 4:30 6 days a week, 6:30am is fabulous!)

Thanks ladies! It's nice to know that it's easy to re-arrange as needed.

Didn't find Ab Ripper to be too frightful but I'm still sore from the other days so maybe I'll feel it tomorrow.

Arms and Shoulders weren't terrible but I was only using 5lb weights. Need to buy a band this weekend.

Yoga X tomorrow. Oh boy. :p
