Default NSV! Ring size

I have lost a ring size! My wedding ring is a 6.5 and its really loose now so I re-measured my finger and I'm now a 5.5. YAY!

Anyone else?

Sort of. A size six ring used to have to be coaxed onto my finger and was tight when it got there, so I was probably a 6.5, and now it goes on pretty easily and fits.

And can somebody tell me what NSV stands for? I get the gist of what it means, I just have no clue what the letters stand for

yeah that happened to me too! My boyfriend got me a promise ring 2 years ago, and it's a 4.75. It's very loose on my left ring finger, so I've been wearing it on my right ring finger but that's getting loose now too. So I went to see how much it would be to get it resized, and my ring size is now a 4! I know I've always had small fingers, but that's crazy!

All of my rings are too big for me - I have had to rotate fingers and start wearing some of my mom's.

I went from about a 8/8.5 to a 7 so far (I think).

Samantha - How much was it to get it re-sized? We got mine sized originally, but the first one is always free. Its starting to get where I'm afraid it might slip off.

My engagement ring is a 7.5 and it's starting to get loose. My other ring is always on my right hand ring finger and that one is getting loose too, but at least that one is free resizing from a local store.

I'm jealous! I've always had really fat fingers! Even at my lowest weight and I swear they are always the same size! I wear like a 10 I think! BOO

I started out at a 7.75, and now I'm down probably to a 7 or 6.75. I'm just wearing a plastic spacer on it now until I get down to my goal weight. You can get them at Claires, btw, if you don't want to size your ring right away. It is really bad for your ring to get it resized too often as each time you have it done it breaks down the moleucular structure of the metal ever so slightly and the metal is weakened a bit. (I used to sell jewelry...can you tell? )

My bad. My boyfriend informed me it's an 8... so from a 10 to an 8. Now if only my waist would get that small

The first time I got it resized it was free too. This time he said it would be 30 dollars, but it depends on how many sizes you have to go up or down. My boyfriend got my ring from Gordon's Jewelers, so I don't know how much the price differs from place to place, but over all it's not a bad price. I thought it would be much more.
